Right... was bored, so I (with Vithar's suggestion) decided to sketch out Rom how I imagine him. Sorry in advance for the poor quality, I'm going to go over the picture(s) with a black marker tomorrow (read: a few hours from now) to help. Just figured I'd upload what I've got for the time being.

So, let's get started. If you can't read it, the first bit of writing (at top) says, "Rom: One big hairy muthaf@$T#&)(*" and the bottom reads, "Stay away Fen. AWAY!!"

-overall view.
Posted Image
-closeup/side view of the head and neck. I really like it from that angle, hehe.
Posted Image
-somewhat-zoomed in pic of the torso, face, etc.

As I said, I'll replace these tomorrow with... better ones. May run over to my gram's and jack borrow their scanner to help further.

See, Matias? I can draw big! :p

Cheers,
-mike

So I've drawn Tom.

But I don't have access to a scanner until next week. Sucks for you guys!

Camera? won't be perfect but might work.

I can't draw so Thaos will be in your imaginations, in fact the shifting descriptions you guys give him will help with the changing appearance thing he does.

Nice. :evgr: I can't draw to save my life, except for swords, with which I'm a little hit and miss. Oh, and maps, I can draw good maps. I still have the original hand-drawn maps from my first RP on here. Nearly a year ago, now...

Pretty nice ;)
but i always imagined the minotaurs being more hunch backed.

Ow, now i want to draw Zhar, but it will probably end out looking crappy...

I would draw Illyriel, but it would be pointless as he looks exactly like the Wood Elf in this video, except with two slightly shorter and more curved swords rather than the one straight blade.
Of course I don't look busy; I did it right the first time.

SWG, I've actually been considering doing a sketch of Zhar, as I kinda want to show y'all how I picture him ;)

Also, the hunch-backed thing. I agree, it just doesn't show too well in this sketch. Though the closeup of his head at the bottom is what I'm going for (how it should look from a different angle).

Looks good, but that tattooing isn't very inconspicuous ;)

EDIT: In-conspicuous, dammit..

Nice swords... I had his 'tattoos' in mind as more swirly and less solid and straight-edged, but whatever. He'll still be the same in my mind. :p

I imagined Tom being more lean, and more bad-ass/mean looking(less facial hair too), with the 'tattoos' being more thin, but all over more.

anyway,
I visualise Zhar wearing a mage robe sorta like this:
Posted Image
but having it more cloak-like, with a hood and stuff.

Infact, i imagine him like the middle guy in This

I have drawn some ok pictures of him, but every time i end up not being happy with the face

@ Vort: The bands do get skinnier on the body by branching out. Besides, when you're working with the very ends of the bands on one of the smallest cross-sections of skin, they're gonna turn out looking straight edged and big. Glad you like the swords tho... I spent a few days trying to get a feel for them. He really isn't the dualed katana type when you think about it, and straightswords are the mainstay of humans, not elf hybrids.

@ SWG: He's lean in a muscular sense, not the skin-and-bones sense. And badasses have always been scruffy in my head. Perhaps it's because I can't do the whole 5 o'clock shadow thing very well. Goddamn you, blonde facial hair... And part of my @vort holds here too. The face is relatively small when compared to the torso and legs... there isn't enough room to make many more swirls without losing definition in the face.

I imagined him with facial hair more like Kratos', but not bald on his head, and more slim/lean.
not weak, but fairly thin with good muscle tone.

hhhmmm, now that i think of it, i never really imagine with much detail what any of the characters look like... so theres not that much to describe how i imagined him, because most of it just wasn't there in my mind.

Same with Zhar... i have never imagined his face.

Hey, you can draw nearly as well as me! I could describe Theria, but it would take way too long and I can't really be bothered. You'll get the impression at some point.
