Just wondering if there is anyway to decode all that information into something readable? I thought I might help the AI out by editing them in some more space colonies and stations but I can't make much out when I view the save in notepad.

I'm gonna say probably not.

You'd most likely need some sort of file conversion software that is designed to deal with FoC save games, or maybe extensive knowledge in binary or whatever...
