Well, here it is guys. New thread for Gundam universe parallels discussion.

Rules for this thread:
-No arguing, present your opinions in a calm and orderly fasion.
-No bashing on characters, all that will do is start shitstorms, and we have enough of those in the 00 thread, unfortunately.
-No personal attacks, because apparently no one reads the rules in for this forum anymore.

Anyways, I'll start this off, each new poster name at least ONE Char-clone, but not more than 3, I'm trying to keep this thread going lol.

true so i guess Rau is. My favourite Char clone is Milliardo Peacecraft.

Quattro technically counts cause he's a char-clone who actually turned out to be char. A more genuine one would be Rey za Burrel. Or is he more like a clone of a char-clone?

Clone of a Char Clone of a Char clone. Original being Mwu's father who had no actual on-screen development, however we do know that he had advanced spacial awareness.

Quattro is also pedo, along with the original Char. lol

when you think about it rey is also a puppet no better then shin. so no he isnt a char clone. in technical terms hes a clone like rau but i don't think he has the criteria to be a char clone.

Clone of a Clone of a Clone by sheer genetics. and the Blonde hair. He had no ideals of his own, so he was pathetic.

On a sidenote, Gil has Char (original) as his voice actor, so that makes him insta-Char Clone, although more in the lines of CCA Char.

Define char clone. Last time i remember alot of people in the old destiny thread kept on complaining about rey as a half-assed char clone. Because he just looks like him.

Yes, obviously he's nothing like char. On the other hand, if u define it that way, then i can say even some tom dick and harry characters outside gundam series are char clones. Pout.

Actually, Char Clone has 3 technical variations, OYW Char, Quattro, and CCA Char.

Rey is a half-assed clone, up until they revealed that he's just following someone else's ideals and orders, then he became useless.

Athrun is a Quattro Clone, because he had those shades, along with being a mentor character in a sequal when he was a main character (antagonist, sort of) in the original series.

Mwu is a Quattro/Char clone, although the order is reversed. He started as a Quattro clone, being a mentor character, disappeared/reappeared (I still dont understnad how the hell he lived, damnit Fukada) as Char clone, with the mask and all, then returned to being a quattro clone, even going as far as piloting a Gold MS.
