Hello,

First of all: I've been changing little things of games for years and when I started to "mod" I searched for something like that in vain, but couldn't find anything.
So it's a very good idea (even it's too late for me).

Then...

historic with mythologic powers

Just a question: Is the name "CoPro" decided, or can it change (btw, I like it).

I really don't do requests and my Arnor Soldier is not fit for BFME. Don't ask me for either.

If anyone wanted plain historic, they'd just buy AoE.

Looks like this poll is decided.

Historical with Mythology it is.

So now time to come up with names for the mod itself.

The CoPro name is for the whole project but the mod it self needs a name

Once we come up with the name we can move on to the factions and decide which one to start on.

Once we come up with the name we can move on to the factions and decide which one to start on.

It seem to me a little illogical that way, to decide on the name first and then the content. ... like parents awaiting a child and calling it "Rose" during pregnancy - and then they get a boy. :p

Right... The name should have something to do with the content, so the basics for content should be decided before the name.

but if it's decided on a faction to faction basis (finish one, decide the next) all of the content won't be decided for a while anyway.

I'd say do two factions first - Greek and Norse. Starting out with the Greeks, based around the heroes and troops found during the Siege of Troy - well-defined characters and units there, nice and simple. And using the Greek mythology for Spells, summoning aid from the Gods and heroes from all the corners of Greece (going into history and myth here, like Heracles and Leonidas).

Same thing for the Norsemen.

I thought the name first because we already have a pretty good idea of what we are doing.
History + a little Mythology.

What game is it for? if it's for Rotwk Spartans can be the Greeks special units.

Why not: "the Battle of all time" "Armageddon" or "Gods & Men".

Because that's all too utterly generic. COPRO has symbolic meaning, at least.

Special units could be used in any of the games, not just RotWK.

... COPRO has symbolic meaning ...

QUARK! ... is also very symbolic: :thumbsupsmiley:

Three quarks for Muster Mark!
Sure he has not got much of a bark
And sure any he has it's all beside the mark.

... apart from that, it has several other symbolic connotations - and it is also (sort of) a mythological name ... :crazed:

EDIT: note on the poem above:

Quarks are a type of elementary particle and are major constituents of matter. Quarks combine to form composite particles. The quark model was independently proposed by physicists Murray Gell-Mann and George Zweig in 1964, and Gell-Mann originally named the quark after the sound made by ducks. For some time, he was undecided on an actual spelling for the term he intended to coin, until he found the word quark in James Joyce's book Finnegans Wake.
