For more information on how this works check out the Assignment Information thread.
http://forums.revora...showtopic=70894

First Assignments these are pretty simple ones.

We need Icons for the 2 factions Vikings and Greece.

Assignment 1a:Viking Icon,Logo - This will be used for the score screen icon and for other icon related purposes
Assignment 1b:Greek Icon,Logo - As above
Assignment 1c:A logo/Icon for the mod it's self text doesn't need to be added yet, this will be used for the shortcut for the mod.

Can you give a shot of what the logos are? Like, one of the ones from BFME. I'm having a little trouble understanding.
Greetings, community.

I don't recall exactly what that's like. I'll have a look tomorrow and perhaps begin work on one.

Um... I'll do the Viking one.

I loaded the file for the actual game though. They're 24x24, so they have to look good at that size.

Unless your talking about something else.

Here's the viking icon.

It doesn't seem to work out with the BFME2 icons, but if it looks good with all the other ones in the mod it should work out.

Alright. To keep things consistent, and since no one else is taking it, I'll do the Greek one, too.

I'm thinking an orange-brown color, somewhere in that range.

Here's the concept:

Well logos may be small, but they are important as they are to represent their respective factions ^^

They're suppose to be small, easy on the eyes, no details, and your suppose to see what it represents instantly

So, job well done :p

For the next assignment let's come up with a logo for the mod.
By the logo I mean not just a logo but the the title thing.
So the font will likely be chosen as well.

This is Assignment 1c and Assignment 2.

Looking forward to seeing what's to come.

It would be a lot easier to do if we had some content first, I'd suggest we start with the 3D modelling at once (or looking for modellers, actually).
