Basically you get to create your own Superhero and join our little mercenary squad, taking jobs for adventures and fortunes!
In the beginning it will be pretty freeform, with us taking several jobs and missions but soon a story shall form and it has to deal with some pretty bad guys!
There will also be appearances of some famous heroes.
We will start off in New York City and will travel to many places on our missions.
RPG Name: Mercenary Heroes (suggestions for name?)
RPG Description: There are many cities in the world. And even more villians, specifically super-villians. Someone has to stop them right? Though we do not do it for free. We shall be mercenaries. A strong company of heroes, saving the world from destruction, with a price of course
RPG Era: Future as there will be some advanced weapons and technologies
RPG Plot: In the beginning we start off as a band of mercenary Heroes and will undertake missions and such. Sort of like the Avengers. Later on, there will be a plot about a powerful villian(s) who plots to destroy the world. We must unite with other heroes and take down this new threat.
RPG Leader(s): That would be me and maybe someone else if I see them fit for the role

Careful. This link is DANGEROUS. Do NOT click it. This one, however, is fine.
I had the meaning of life in my signature, but it exceeded the character limit.

Set in a comic-book style world, meaning some advance technologies and other stuff that doesn't make perfect sense is acceptable.
I wasn't thinking mercenaries though, more like everyone coming together like the xmen or some other example of a collection of super-humans, to fight the badguys and whatnot.
And even the appearances of some famous heroes, i was thinking about. Although they would probably have just made cameo type appearances and not really be part of the story or have a prelonged appearances. Might have been funny if someone made a copy-ish character to run into the one that whoever was coping and be like 'who is that freak?' or something
But yeah, maybe its not such a good idea to have too many rp'd running at once...

I'm almost half-tempted to post up an idea to see what kinda response I'd get for it.....

However, we shall wait until such a time as we deem this within the capabilities of the RPG Frontier, which probably means when another RP goes under or a bunch of new people join, whichever comes first.

You can't however have a power that makes you invincible or gives you a huge advantage against others.
You can pick about 2 main powers for your hero but it should be within the same element or something
The minor powers would be increased speed or strength or something and you can have 3 of them so that we're not too super powered.
For example:
Major Powers:
-Flight
-Control over Air currents
Minor Powers:
-Increased Speed
-Sharper Eyesight
-Minor Flexibility (You can stretch your body without hurting yourself to a short extent)
This would make a good hit and run hero that specializes in the air.
You can get pretty creative with these power combos
If this manages to get approved and takes off, i'll create a list and rank abilities as major or minor.
Other cool powers would be teleportation, shadow shifting, cameleon, Super stretchyness, control over fire, etc.
Or maybe I could make it so that we can just pick any reasonable power we want while keeping in mind not to get too OP. Maybe the list will limit things too much?
Any suggestions on how else we could do this?
