The brackets for the Warcraft III and World of Warcraft Arena tournaments at BlizzCon are now live. These brackets show the starting matches and also provide some information about the contestants who will be competing in this year's BlizzCon tournaments. Each participant qualified based on their outstanding performance at their respective regional final. We will be updating these brackets during BlizzCon, so make sure to check back to see the latest tournament results and replays.

Please note that the StarCraft Invitational information will be updated as we near Blizzcon.

We're excited to unveil the tournaments at this year's BlizzCon, which will take place August 21-22 at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California. The global finals for the 2009 Warcraft III and World of Warcraft Arena Tournaments will be held there, with the qualifying players and teams from the North American, European, Korean, and Taiwanese regional finals vying for the top prize of $25,000 per player. Don't miss the thrilling player-vs.-player action taking place in the world of Azeroth.
Additionally, we'll invite the top StarCraft players in the world to participate in the fourth BlizzCon StarCraft Invitational. Come see battle-tested veterans compete against promising challengers in these exciting eSports. We hope you'll follow our tournament coverage of the events as these elite players showcase their talent and skill.


Basically, a bunch of the world's best players are going to fight each other. Should be interesting, mais non?
