I'm starting a new thing to go along with CoPro.
This is the Tutelage program,it is for people interested in working on CoPro.

Essentially it is extra support for people to learn the ropes of modding.
So if you are starting out in modding and like CoPro sign up here for either student of Tutor and you can get extra tutelage and support or give it out.
I would like for there to be 1 tutor of each aspect of modding to be involved.

The skills gained from this can be useful if you want to work on a mod team or start working on a mod down the track.

Remember CoPro is reliant on community participation even if you don't think you'll be good try your hand at it you might find a skill.

So sign up for the program below and put you what you wish to learn/teach.

I am signing up as a Tutor for the Tutelage program.
I can teach mostly coding but can help out in any other field.

Check the tutorials on the site, they're pretty good from what I hear.

The teachers probably learned it from those tutorials themselves. What are they going to teach you about basic binding that's not already covered in the tutorials? Instead of attempting the impossible and getting a ''teacher'' why don't you keep trying and start a topic in the right section to ask questions when you get stuck? That's how everybody else learned.

It's not really hard, though it can be time consuming, to do much of anything in modding, but it's hard to learn things from tutorials sometimes. And some people learn better with a teacher to explain things.

The point of this program is not to point people to tutorials Matias... :p
Greetings, community.

The idea for this topic Matias is to give advice not just send them to the tutorials this is essentially a second step.

Once they do the tutorials and learn the basics the tutors will help them along in a more direct fashion than normal.

I changed my mind I think I can improve in coding on my own. How about modeling and skinning. I really dont understand what Mapping it. (is it like the UVW Map in Renx?)
Wait... what?

Mapping as in worldbuilder.

I agree with matias, really. You don't need much more than the tutorials to get going, plus a little experimenting on your own. I don't think I could really offer anything as a tutor that would top m@tt's mapping tutorial, or nert's skinning a golasgil knight, or the scratch modeling a human one (forget who it is).
