The first Arkham City theme sounds like one of those intense TV show pieces they play before they say who's going into the final of Masterchef or The Apprentice. I like it though.
EDIT: Thought I should probably include these now while I can:

I never liked the style of the Star Wars music. I mean everyone knows the tunes, duh... dah... duh-duh-duh-daahh... haven't a problem with that. But the use of the instruments in some cases put me off for being... cheesy, maybe?
However, I'll leave a little of my game music and Sigur Ros here:

I know but I chose those Star Wars pieces because they were written for a separate Star Wars pc game which was credited for its film-like score. Not even the same composer but it does have a similar style

Oh, and...
You know... I keep hearing people snurgle on about that "Let it go" piece from that Frozen movie. Like it's the magnum opus of Jesus Christ himself. After just now listening to it for the first time... still don't get it. You can get that pop garbage on FM radio... don't matter if some cheeby big-eyed slack-jawed Disney bent is snapping it.
Speaking of stuff to snap to:

I just read up on Matthew Wilder and apparently he voiced the singing parts for Ling in Mulan.
aaand we're back to Mulan.
For some reason this song popped into my head.

Oh, God no. Everyone always says he's so cool because he acts in everything, is generally awesome, and wrote a metal album - two are true, but I always think the third is overrated. And bad.

There's a new Metal gear Solid 5 trailer out directed by Hideo Kojima. So you know what that means... that's right. Cool music!

In the same vein as Pasidon's trailer music, this is a new (to me) version of a classic song, which they used under the trailer for the new Assassin's Creed, where it's rather effective.
