Admit that you've had moments in your life, perhaps on a long trip out on the road, that Bruce Springsteen has been your travelling companion in music, at least with radio.

I guess I'm off to an early start with Christmas related content. Song by Ray Charles, and the movie is Christmas Vacation starring Chevy Chase. As a fun bit of trivia, I saw Juliette Lewis, who plays Chevy Chases daughter in the movie, perform with her band at a music festival I attended here in Sweden around 10 years ago:

I like some Christmas songs but it's too early to find some new and good ones, especially from synthwave.

Now those are the best synthwave cover songs I have found so far.

First up is Fury Weekend's Another Brick In The Wall which is ten times better than the 1979 Pink Floyd original:

Second up is Frisky Monkey & Seersha Self Control which sounds a bit better than the 1984 Laura Branigan original (don't mind that David Bowie voice):

Coming soon on 11/24/2020, the next best synthwave cover.... Essenger's Nightcall ft. Nina.  :thumbsupcool:

Also coming soon on 11/27/2020, Nina's next EP album, Control.  :thumbsupcool:

Primo released her unreleased track and it sounds too good to be true, pure jazz fusion vibes!

One of the fewest female synthwave artists to actually achieve the retro sound of the 80s:

It has sort of been an ongoing annual trend among some radio stations in Sweden for some time to start broadcasting christmas songs non stop early, classics like Bing Crosby, Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin etc and songs from more recent decades etc. There are also new songs and remixes of older songs. I guess they haven't started yet this year because many people are sick of hearing christmas music non stop for over a month in advance. What's the deal in USA?

Pink Floyd cover? Well, there is also the Dune trailer song.

Probably this synthwave track is named after a Marvel character:

Not bad for a mashup remix with Midnight Sky and Edge of 17:

This collab with Miley Cyrus and Dua Lipa isn't that bad for more retro:

This artist is acting like Daft Punk:

Here's another one of the best songs of the year, full of sax vibes:

So I am mentioning my Christmas playlists from me, rather than saying which synthwave Christmas song is worth posting here.

My YouTube Christmas synthwave playlist: https://www.youtube....lycW8pmucwPFAd2

My Spotify Christmas synthwave playlist: https://open.spotify...VRVbRV7ANIftdgu

Keep in mind the listing and ordering of songs will change without notice.  :thumbsuphappy:

Recalling these two popular synthwave tracks. They may sound epic with the music but not for the singing lyrics. Why I was conflicted? Because back then the voices sound corny and cringey.

That's funny since I was just stopping by to drop off the POWERGLOVE remix of Dark All Day.  Solid remix.

Well Pasidon, I was about to post that when I couldn't find the Power Glove remix in Spotify. That Power Glove remix sounds epic, only to remind me of their Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon soundtrack.

Next, this latest music video by Lindsey Stirling sounds just great for the holidays:
