The lands in which Malvegil must travel will be showcased here.

The landscape in this map is varied from pleasant grassy pastures to the bleak Mountains.
This topic will give you a tour of this area.
So sit back and enjoy the ride.

First place to visit is Cur Thraror.

Cur Thraror is an Orc camp enclosed in a ring of hills the lesser Orc Camp of two.
At the back of the camp is a path going to Gurtha Carang.
The two Orc tribes are not good neighbours and in fighting happens often.
The camp is led by Orzgar a cruel and violent Orc who leads the Orcs on raids of the local settlements.
So far they have destroyed the town of Donbar but have been unable to take the more heavily fortified Thominas.
He prepares a large raid with the help of the Orc Camp of Gurtha Carang.
Unless he is stopped the whole area will be overrun by Orcs.

While I don't have the screenshots up yet I will list a few of the locations of Trials.
Some known others not.

Thominas - The town in the centre of the region built out of the ashes of Donbar and in defiance of the Orc Tribes of the area.
Named Thominas after the large Wooden Tower in the centre of the town built in memory of the fallen.
Thominas is seen as a bastion of hope in the area with many men coming to live in the boosting it's population and bolstering it's defences.
It's not unusual to see Dunedain,Elves and Dwarves in this town.

Donbar - Now burned Donbar was once a thriving town an important trade point for the nearby Dunedain,Elves and Dwarves.
It was attacked by the Orcs under the command of Orzgar.
The people who survived went onto founding Thominas others went into Taur-nu-Ithil to live in the hidden town.

Elbalad - The hidden town of the Avari and Silvan elves.
Elbalad is rumoured to have been founded in the First age by Elves forsaking the journey over the sea and staying in the woods instead.
Elbalad is truly ancient and very few know about it even amongst the Elves.

Morgondbar - A small outpost dwelling of the dwarves created in the second age during the height of Khazad Dum's power.
Morgondbar was held as a small fiefdom and in time became a fiefdom of Erebor.
However over time the dwelling fell into disuse except by a small contingent of Miners.
In the mines of Morgondbar is found plenty of Iron and in some areas Gold is found.
An old rumour states that there may even be mythril in the deep mines but no one knows for sure.

Taur-nu-Ithil -
The forest under moon was once a peaceful wood enjoyed by the Avari especially at night.
But like many forests in Middle-Earth a shadow fell on it.
The shadow of Taur-nu-Ithil has been kept to a minimum by the Avari however with the growing numbers of Orcs in the area the forest has begun to be home for Trolls and Evil Spiders.

Taur-en-Anor -
The forest of the Sun a lighter forest than Taur-nu-Ithil it had once been part of Taur-nu-Ithil but the men of the area as well as the Orcs of Angmar of the past had cleared a lot of it.
Eventually the forests had split.
Taur-en-Anor was loved by the Avari and used for Midsummer Festivals.
The Orcs however burnt it down in an attempt to burn down Thominas.
The once beautiful forest now smoulders.

Baladin -
The hidden outpost of Arnor in the region.
Located in the southern hills due to the vigilance of the Dunedain the outpost has remained secret.
Baladin was once the childhood home of Malvegil and now provides the starting point for Malvegil's greatest trial to date.

Taurbar -
Not much is known about this small village even it's location is known to very few.

Tireldin -
A small village hidden in Taur-nu-Ithil somewhere to the south of Thominas.
This town became swelled by the intake of refugees from Donbar.
Tireldin is protected by the vigilance of the Avari.

Haudh-en-umbar -
The mounds and graves of Donbar is a silent area the grief of the fallen seem to hang in the air with few daring to approach this place.

Ka'Thasul -
Named in the local Hillmen language this is a town built directly north of Haudh-en-umbar.
The Hillmen had largely been quiet but lately something has stirred them up and their ancient hatred
once again burns in their veins.
The Hillmen of Ka'Thasul are believed to be descended from the few survivors of Angmar's Hillmen.

Gursar -
Named by the Hillmen this is believed to be one of their chief towns in the area.
Few strangers have ventured to this town for fear of not coming back.
The Hillmen here live in the snow and wind that plague the area.
Because of this the local Hillmen are very hardy people.

Imlad-nu-Los
Valley under Snow is the nickname for this small area.
Year round it is under snow the seasons seem to have no effect on the valley.
The valley is home to a tribe of Snow Trolls.

Haudh-en-Anor -
Ancient mounds believed to be from the men of Arnor once apon a time.
The place has now become home to the feared Barrow Wights.

Imlad Ungol-
The Valley of the Spider is a treacherous place where non travel and return.
Even Trolls are known to perish here.
The spiders of this valley are ancient and are believed to be related to Shelob.
The Spiders plaguing Taur-nu-Ithil are believed to come from here.

Fuinen -
The lake is feared by all those that live nearby.
Sometimes those that venture to the waters do no return.
Something lives in the water, something foul.

Ongkar-
An Orc camp in the north it is situated amongst a winding series of jagged cliffs.
The area is inhospitable to all but the hardiest of Orcs and Trolls.
The Orcs of Ongkar burnt down Taur-en-anor in an attempt to destroy Thominas.

Gurtha Carang-
Home to some of the strongest Orcs in the area it is located at the back of Cur Thraror.
Gurtha Carang is home to many battle hardened Trolls as well as Orcs.

Burz Guarsh-
The small Orc settlement to the East of Baladin it has been growing in size lately.
Some fear that Burz Guarsh could become a threat to Baladin.

Cur Thraror-
Led by Orzgar Cur Thraror is home to many Orcs who serve Orzgar out of fear.
The Orcs from Cur Thraror are the ones that burned down Donbar.

Marshland -
Few venture into the Marshland for fear of getting stuck in the mud and eventually becoming lost and dying of starvation.
People entering the Marshlands are sometimes known to become insane.

Wolflands-
Located to the south of Thominas the Wolflands are home to many Wolves and Wargs and little else.
The lands are a series of winding chasms that go from just north of Burz Guarsh to Thominas.

There is more but I will get into that another time.
