I know this list isn't 100% canon, but for balanced gameplay (more importnat to me) some things have to be sacreficed lol...

light fighters are good at countering fighters, and light bombers
heavy fighters are good at countering heavy bombers and light bombers
light bombers can take on the smaller larger ships, they do shield damage as well as hull damage, more shield than hull
heavy bombers can take on anyo f the larger ships, the have shield pass weapons so they do no shield damage and good hull damage.
Tier 1s can take on all the fighter/bombers easily enough, are fast
Tier 2/3/4 are all relativly the same strength... so are Tier 5/6 , 7/8, 9/10, 11/12
Ive tried to grab a hero to cover these groups, thats y theres 7 heroes. I know not all the groups are covered, but on average i think itll work out ok

Also all carriers generate 5 of there light fighters, 3 heavy fighters, 3 light bombers and 2 heavy bombers and are sting against corvettes and other anti-fighter units...
let me explain the rest of the tier setup. Each teir is identically powered. They are counter units of the lower tiers...
the list is still open to variance.... minor variance....

now u know what ive got ahead of me... remember each tier has 4 units... for each unit i have to not only balance speed, health, shields, hardpoint damage, armor type, damage type, fire rate, projectile type.... etc...

So yeh long story short ill be working on this when i get a chance, and marking those things ive finished. Ill be doing it in order of whats there stuff not listed isn't really important enough for me to deal with ATM.
