You play as a Mook, no limits to what mook you choose. Just let us know what they'll be using.
Free for all, do whatever the hell you want, but remember, you're a mook, not a Hero.
EDIT: The Redshirts are also usable; but they still graduated from the same Marksmanship Academy, so they are just as limited.
