Mandalorian Bombing Runs

Otherwise the game seems to work perfectly so far, though I've only played through with the Imperial Remnant and Mandos as of yet.

Basically, whenever I attempt to use a bombing run with bombers in orbit, the game crashes. If needed I can get the list of bombers I had in orbit.

If you could provide a list of the bombers you had, that would be great. I've had this bug reported before but nobody bothers to say which bombers or anything like that...

Well I think what it is was when I had more than one bomber type present in space. If I recall, the run that worked, I only had the cheapest type of bomber in space, sorry for lack of detail.

Ok this is odd, I tried again and the bombing runs worked fine.

I thought that this might be the case... It would be cool to have multiple bomber run types but I don't think the game is set up for it. Having multiple bombers over the same planet makes the game say..."wait! which one am I supposed to use?" and then it just crashes. I think I'll revert back to the standard Y-wing/TIE Bomber/whatever Mano bomber I want to use setup (though, if I can find a way to keep it as it is, I will).

i've tried with both types of Mando bombers in my fleet, and in my experience, if the Supafighter is in the fleet above the planet, it'll bomb as usual, no problem. However, if the Toskan is in orbit, it'll crash. my advice would be don't use the toskan in order to allow bombing runs.
The Toskan 8-Q isn't supposed to be usable for bombing runs...which is probably why it crashes because I left some scrap of bombing run code in there that shouldn't be there. I'll look into it. Thanks for letting me know this.
You could just turn the other bomber ships into similar classes to the TIE Defender, with them strong against capital ships and structures and all, basically functioning as bombers just without the class.
It isn't a class issue but an issue with the actual bombing run setup. The bombing runs are actually different 'units' that are referenced by a space unit.

PS I just retested this and found that this is not necessarily the case, I performed several successfull bombing runs while Toskans were in my fleet along side the other bombers but when I moved from kamino and then tried the same tactic on mon calamari during that ground invasion the game did crash.

Just going to continue that yes it is the Toskan that is causing this problem for me as well I read about this issue and just tested it out and as soon as a toskan was added to my fleet and I sent a run it crashed. (I say I tested this, but I merely forgot and sent one anyway and lost my conquests of Kamino and Mon Calamari, Doh!)

Interesting...I'm still working on this one so this is good to know. Thanks for the info.

But it looks like the Gladiator Assault Squadrons are also causing the bombing run crash, which would probably explain why having a Kandosii in orbit also can cause a crash.
