SQUADS+SERGEANT

Rough Riders
Notes: Fierce and ferocious tone, impetuous and confident yet proud. I imagine they might have a slight accent, perhaps slightly eastern, but not too obvious. These guys come from a savage, barbaric world with a strict warrior code and their voice and mentality reflect this. While nominally attached as scouts, these guys like nothing better than the thrill of the charge and to kill their foes!

Veteran Squad (Grenadier with Flamer/Shotgun/Melta upgrades)
Notes: Whereas Stormtroopers are the cream of the cream, trained from birth to be exceptional Imperial warriors Imperial Guard Veterans learned the same skills in the battlefield, not a fancy classroom, with inferior equipment and weapons. They are irreverent for the most part, they know their job, they can do it well and damned if you know better than they. They would be exceptionally pious if sometimes a bit reckless. I imagine them with more conventional American accents, try looking at Generation Kill, specifically Corporal Ray or Jake Gyllenhal's character in Jarhead.

Veteran Squad Captain
Notes: An Imperial Guard Veteran Captain is essentially every tough grizzled soldier you’ve seen in the movies or videogames, from Sergeant Hartman of Full Metal Jacket to Captain Price from Call of Duty. Cool, calm, collected and confident. If it helps I envisage these quotes being done with Major Winters voice from Band of Brothers.

Ratling Snipers

Commissar Lord
Notes: Commissars are serious morale officers willing to shoot their own troops if they flee. At times these men become leaders of entire units on their own and become Commissar Lords.
Unit_Complete1: Blessed is the mind too small for doubt.
Unit_Complete2: Let's see how those degenerate sophisticates handle a healthy dose of pure unreasoning violence.
Unit_Complete3: Emperor protects!

Unit_Complete6: Peace is not in my vocabulary.
Unit_Complete7: A friend of death, a brother of luck and a son of a bitch!

Jarran Kell
Notes: He is a bodyguard and bearer of a regimental standard. Being the protector of an already badass Creed makes him no less badass. He is also known for a loud, booming voice that can drown out the enemy’s voices.

Creed
Notes: This man is Creed. Wise, badass, tactical genius. His presence alone is enough to f*ck up your sh*t and make you cry mommy. Necrons cry Gauss tears seeing this guy.
Due to his extremely high rank, he will not refer to the player as sir.
Unit_Complete1: I’m here. What’s the plan?
Unit_Complete2: It seems Cadia will be victorious today.
Unit_Complete3: I have been called. How dire is the battle?
Unit_Complete4: You summoned me? Take me to the men.
Unit_Complete5: I am the Lord Castellan, what is the objective here?
Unit_Complete6: They have picked the wrong day to set foot on Cadian soil.
Unit_Complete7: (Primary Hero’s voice) Tell the men that Lord Creed has arrived.
Selection1: This is Creed.
Selection2: No tactical obstacle can withstand the assault of a prepared mind.
Selection3: It is all about positioning.
Selection4: Know their force composition, win half the battle.
Selection5: The solders fight. You must keep a clear head.
Selection6: You have a situation report?
Selection7: The Imperium of Man has entrusted me….
Move1: Keep me informed.

Attack6: This is the decisive moment. ATTACK!
Attack7: Put your wargear to use! CHARGE!
Capture1: Take and hold.
Capture2: I need covering fire during the capture!
Capture3: Initiating capture. Men! Cover me!
Capped1: So begins the tug-of-war….
Capped2: Let them come wear themselves out trying to take this back.
Capped3: A partial victory as of yet.
Join1: Follow me, guardsmen.
Join2: You will serve as my escort now.
Join3: Soldiers of Cadia! Follow me!
Detach1: I will be elsewhere. Follow through with your objectives.

Morale_Restored1: Let us sally forth!
Morale_Restored2: We will regain that ground…or forever hold here.
Morale_Restored3: Rally around me men. Let us retake that ground!

Death1: What will…become of Cadia?
Death2: Without my leader ship……ahhh..
Death3: Let…Jarran take my place…
Death4: Found…a chink in my armor???

VEHICLES

Arvus Lighter
Notes: The Arvus is a cargo ship, and doesn't see combat often. Because of this, the pilot should be somewhat timid. I think an African-American voice should do the trick here.

Valkyrie Vendetta (Heavily Armored Assault Carrier)
Notes: Modified versions of the regular Valkyrie, these have been modified to have exceptional firepower, and can hold its own easily on the battlefield after dropping off its units, if any. They would be somewhat overconfident, with all the extra armaments, and at home on the battlefield. For the actual voice, look at the American announcer in the Battlefield Bad Company 2 multiplayer, if you can (probably the best example of what it could be).
Unit_Complete1: You needed a transport?
Unit_Complete2: Valkyrie here, where’s the battle?
Unit_Complete3: Vendetta Armored Assault Carrier, ready.
Unit_Complete4: You load ‘em up, I’ll drop ‘em in.

Leman Russ Annihilator
Notes: The voice actor should try and maintain a fervent, religious air but not quite fanatical. He’s commands the tank and speaks to both the General and the crew. He thinks of himself as the ‘bringer of light’ to the Emperor’s enemies. With most of the lines, sound determined and serious. With the death lines, try and sound either die-hard or panicked.
Unit_Complete1: By the Emperor’s Will, we are here.
Unit_Complete2: Annihilator on the field.
Unit_Complete3: Lascannons primed.

Death2: (as if breathing scorching hot air) Death. Is. Honor.
Death3: We go to His embrace...
Death4: (Panicked) MERCIFUL EMPEROR!!

Leman Russ Conqueror
Notes: The voice actor should try and portray a headstrong, hotshot tank ace. Try for a very cocky, confident, and impatient attitude. For death and combat lines, add in some surprise as well as panic where needed.
Unit_Complete1: Conqueror deployed.
Unit_Complete2: Turning the tide of war.
Unit_Complete3: We’re here to win the war.
Unit_Complete4: About time you called us in.

Death1: What the-!?
Death2: *staticy screams over the radio*
Death3: No! NO!
Death4: (Very panicked) But I can’t die!

Leman Russ Eradicator
Notes: The voice actor should try and maintain an aggressive and slightly violent air for this role. The Eradicator is designed to crush infantry and obstacles alike and as such should sound uncaring for those challenges. Not confident, just indifferent. Also, try and sound slightly fatalistic and ruthless as you negate cover that troops use to hide behind so their deaths are inevitable in a way. For death lines, try and sound kind panicky for some and “screw you” for others.
Unit_Complete1: Eradicator on the battlefield.
Unit_Complete2: Eradicator deploying.
Unit_Complete3: Point us to the enemy.
Unit_Complete4: Here to crush the Emperor’s enemies.

Ability5: Nice try. My turn.
Combat1: Take them apart!
Combat2: Open fire!
Combat3: Again! Fire again!
Death1: Emperor save us!
Death2: I’m taking you with me!
Death3: *Angry “roar” or “scream”*
Death4: You can’t kill me!!

Leman Russ Executioner
Notes: The voice actor should portray a tank commander who is, quite bluntly, a bit of a nerd and very professional. Try to incorporate a large amount of confidence in the machine itself into the voice acting. For the death lines, go for a bit of disbelief more than panic. This will reflect the commander’s shock at his machine’s failure more than just plain panic. Essentially, this commander will think and act like a Techpriest though without the cybernetics (we think).
Unit_Complete1: Leman Russ Executioner ready for war.
Unit_Complete2: Executioner offloaded.
Unit_Complete3: Imperial plasma tank here.
Unit_Complete4: Your scorched earth policy has arrived, sir.

Attack1: Yes, sir.
Attack2: The plasma coils are charged.

Leman Russ Vanquisher Command Tank
Notes: The Vanquisher Command tank is an elite tank-destroyer vehicle which commands a company. The voice should sound confident in his/her abilities and that of their vehicle and crew. (Possibly Russian, as I get a Russian heavy tank vibe from the Leman Russ.)
Unit_Complete1: Vanquisher complete, awaiting command.

Leman Russ Vanquisher Command Tank -- ALTERNATE LINES
Notes: Vanquishers are incredibly rare tanks, therefore their crews are highly experienced and their commanders even more so. Their voices would be proud and confident, yet calm and composed: after all, the vanquisher is something of a sniper-tank, and is would not be crewed by go-ho characters.

Death3: I see a bright light...
Death4: I was just getting warmed up.

Malcador
Notes: An Older Heavy tank, out of production and generally considered unreliable. The Crew is confident in their combat ability, but expect the vehicle to fail at some point.
Unit_Complete1: Heavy armor ready!
Unit_Complete2: I thought they stopped making these.
Unit_Complete3: Where’d they find this thing?
Unit_Complete4: Malcador deployed.
Unit_Complete5: We’re ready to roll, I think.

Attack2: Getting an angle on it.
Attack3: Reliable or not, Open fire!
Attack4: The guns work for sure.
Attack5: Lining up targets.

Death3: Damn it, she's breaching..
Death4: *vehicle explosion*

Macharius
Notes: Macharius Heavy tanks are an inferior design to the Baneblade tank and are produced by Forgeworlds. They have generally inferior technology. Communications will be between commander and crew or commander and HQ via wireless vox comms.
Unit_Complete1: Lucius-Pattern Macharius reporting for duty!
Unit_Complete2: It's no Baneblade, but it'll do.
Unit_Complete3: From the Lucius Forgeworld to the Emperor's battlefields!
Unit_Complete4: We have arrived and are rolling into position.
Unit_Complete5: Driver! Take up formation with the armored column!

Death3: Enemy anti-tank weapons loaded for bear! Evasion action!
Death4: Something just got through our armor! Pull back!

Banesword
Notes: Whereas the Baneblade is a super heavy all-rounder tank that can engage foes both near and far, the Banesword's weaponry is less damaging but can be fired like artillery thanks to its Quake cannon. The crew would sound like smug, snug, safe fellows and somewhat less eager in getting into the thick of things. They're also a bit relaxed for an endgame unit.
Unit_Complete1: Banesword, the finest siege tank forged, is ready to conclude the battle.
Unit_Complete2: Banesword and crew, fit for battle.
Unit_Complete3: Behold the Banesword, for we shall rain down fire and death on the enemy.
Unit_Complete4: Commander, the Banesword and crew are ready to serve in the name of the Emperor.
Unit_Complete5: Banesword, the ultimate siege tank, has been deployed.

Move1: On our way, get on the sponsons, men.
Move2: We're out of range? That's surprising.
Move3: Our sacred armor will withstand anything.
Move4: Engines to full speed, driver. (driver) Yes commander.
Move5: The quicker we get there, the quicker we can start firing.
Move6: Reposition, keep those sights clean.
Move7: Advance.
Attack1: Cover the men, open fire!
Attack2: I see them, they're asking for it. FIRE!
Attack3: Let's make them quake in fear.
Attack4: Coordinates received, you know what to do, gunner.
Attack5: (Gunner) 3, 2, 1, DELIVERING ORDNANCE.

Ability4: They're closing in! Use the smoke!
Ability5: Defensive fire! Divert all power to secondary fire!
Combat1: We're not just artillery, we're a tank also.

Combat3: Gun them all down!
Death1: By the Emper---boom-
Death2: How did they....we have failed.
Death3: They've hit the ammo cache! -boom-
Death4: We're too close! Driver, get us out of----boom-

Death2: Banesword, do you copy? Report your status immediate!
Death3: Sir, our contact to Banesword has lost.

Banehammer
Notes: Strange enough for a super heavy tank, the Banehammer's main purpose is not to kill as many people on the field as possible, but rather to slow down fast opponents and neutralize them so the rest of the army can bomb them to hell. They also have the ability to transport some infantry, who can use the heavy stubbers on the tank to deal additional damage. The crew are not glory-seekers nor do they yell much. They sound a bit like they're waiting to trap the enemy. After doing their job they'll give the green light on everyone else to do the killing. Think of a chessmaster. Always planning, always waiting for the enemy to make a move.
Unit_Complete1: Banehammer, formation-disrupting unit at the ready.
Unit_Complete2: Banehammer, ready to make the ground erupt at our beckon.
Unit_Complete3: The tremor cannon is ready, the crew are eager for combat.

Selection7: Let us know of any threats to our men, commander.
Move1: We are needed at that location. (Driver) Yes sir.
Move2: Ah, a strategic location.
Move3: Engines to full, we cannot tarry.
Move4: We shall lie in wait there.

Doomhammer
Notes: The doomhammer is tasked with bringing down the super heavies of enemy armies. However, it can also transport its own detachment of infantry and has its own fireports, making it quite the flexible super heavy. Stormsword
Notes: The Stormsword Commander is a Commissar-like man and has a quite posh imperial voice like general veers (The guy who destroys the shield generator) in star wars the empire strikes back. Most of the talking is done by him but the few death lines will be said by the crew members. Remember to make the death lines dramatic and panicky.

Leviathan
Notes: One of the largest Imperial ground vehicles of them all (apart from Capitol Imperialis). Can carry a platoon of infantry or a handful of Sentinels into the heart of the battle. Being a mobile HQ the crew tend to be of the highest caliber under the command of the Staff General. Very professional and egotistical -- the sense of near impenetrability is VERY commonplace.
Unit_Complete1: Leviathan Command Vehicle is ready.

Warhound Titan
Notes: Warhound Titan. Scout. These things run ahead and blast the crap out of it all. I picture this voice slightly dull and mechanic, but with a good dose of feral wolf-y-ness. Also, something to remember: Titan pilots ( Princep ) is literally wired into his machine. For lack of a better term, he IS the machine. When it's hurt, he is too.

Death3: We commend our souls to the Emperor, and pray that we have performed our duty well…
Death4: Only He is unending…

Apocalypse Titan
Notes: Voice should be booming and imposing, each word spoken heavily and with a deliberate fashion. (Think like the Ents from The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King)

Add your Imperial Guard units/squads/whatever below and we'll get it voiced or soundfx applied. All Imperial Guard units from any regiment can be mentioned.

I'll let you know if we have voice scripts for em but we have all voice scripts done for the following Imperial Guard regiments:

Elysians
Mordians
PDF Guard
Praetorians
Vostroyans

But if you know of some major custom units even for the above Imperial Guard regiments let us know..

NOTE: If you wish also to fill out the voice script template for the unit you submit then also please contribute this way also.

Look at the 1st message of this thread to see whats to do and 2nd message what has been done.

Work Area -- Unfinished Submissions

Aquila Lander
Notes: The Aquila is a light cargo ship, and doesn't see combat often. Because of this, the pilot should be somewhat timid. I think an standard American voice should do the trick here.
Unit_Complete1: Aquila deployed.
Unit_Complete2: Something needs transport?
Unit_Complete3: Within reason, I'll carry it.
Unit_Complete4: If it'll fit, I'll take it.
Unit_Complete5: I'm ready.. load me up!
Unit_Complete6: Aquila Light Cargo transport, in the field.
Unit_Complete7: Accepting standard packages.
Selection1: Of course.
Selection2: Ready for new orders.
Selection3: Yes?
Selection4: HQ?
Selection5: Light Transporter ready.
Selection6: Aquila here.
Selection7: Where do you want it?
Move1: There? Alright then.
Move2: Affirmative.
Move3: That I can do.
Move4: You bet!
Move5: Bringing her round.
Move6: Locking on bearings.
Move7: Moving.
Attack1: Send em to hell!
Attack2: Maneuvering to attack.
Attack3: Fire.. FIRE!!
Attack4: Ordnance is hot!
Attack5: We're Live!
Attack6: Going on the offensive!
Attack7: Weapons away!
Ability1: Let's go!
Ability2: I'll give 'em everything I can.
Ability3: Offensive maneuvers!
Ability4: This should help.
Ability5: Get through this, come on!
Death1: Bailing out...
Death2: Can't keep her in the air.. much long.. *explodes*
Death3: *vehicle explosion*

Unit_Complete1: Marauder Vigilant overhead sir.
Unit_Complete2: We are go for reconnaissance.

Rough Riders Sergeant
Notes: Fierce and ferocious tone, impetuous and confident yet proud. I imagine they might have a slight accent, perhaps slightly eastern, but not too obvious. These guys come from a savage, barbaric world with a strict warrior code and their voice and mentality reflect this. While nominally attached as scouts, these guys like nothing better than the thrill of the charge and to kill their foes!

Imperial Guard info sections

Colossus Siege Tank
AV12 artillery peice armed with an indirect only str6 AP3 cover-ignoring large blast. It effectively has unlimited range and its minimum range is only 24 inches. This artillery is getting into the pricy range, nearing that of a Russ tank, but it's quite deadly anti-horde and anti MEQ. They can't hide anywhere from this cannon, not even in cover. But even if it has sight to something, the indirect only means it'll always be scattering 2d6. Standard hull H.Bolter.

Its basically a MASSIVE kind of Bombard or Medusa. Huge Bore.. very slow firing but damn don't be near ground zero :o :o -- All details on the gun are HERE. Find images of it HERE!

As for the Marauder Colossus.. u mean THIS. I think we might need that scripted as well if you are cool? :p Marauder Vigilance also. Rules for both are HERE.
