Starcraft II Beta Patch 13 has been released! Read all the details here.

As the beta rolls into the penultimate piece of the beta, many new features have been added to bring the game closer to release-version.

Map publishing has been enabled. Now with the Map editor, you can upload and play your custom maps. 3v3 and 4v4 formats are also now available.

On to balance changes.

The Sentry's Force Field can now be "crushed" by massive ground units (Thors, Ultralisks, etc,) and be removed from the world.

The void ray's damage has be decreased from 7 to 6. This is probably a fair nerf, although the void ray is a little easy to counter at the moment.

The Stim Pack and Combat shield upgrade prices have both been decreased from 150/150 to 100/100. This will hopefully mean marines are used more.

The Infestor's Infested Terran ability has been remov ed, replaced by a Frenzy ability. Frenzy targets an allied unit to buff them, enabling them to deal %25 more damage and be immune to snare, stuns and mind control. It lasts 30 seconds, and costs 25 as the infested Terran did.

The Overseer has a new spell, Contaminate. It costs 75 energy and acts much like the old version of Corruption. It disables an enemy structure for 30 seconds. The Overseer has been given the Infested Terran spell, Spawning infested Terrans right below the overseer. It now costs 175 energy. Perhaps it spawns multiple Terrans, I'm not sure.

The Ultralisk's health has been decreased from 600 to 450. It's damage has been changed from 25 to 15 (+25 armored.) This means it will now to 40 damage to armored units, especially strong against small armored units like Marauders. I's damage against structures has also been increased from 60 to 75.
