Name: Vieran Lightfoot, of the Daggerweave, and Liiara Sunsender, of the Soulfyre.
Age: 142 and 137, respectively.
Gender: M and F, respectively.
Race: Deathknelve
Weapons: A set of dwarven forged and runed (for prevention of dulling and a lighter weight) shortswords and elven forged daggers for Vieran and a single dwarven forged and runed (for better magic channeling) shortsword and set of elven daggers for Liiara.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Class: Whisperblades. Technically, Liiara is a Whisperblade Weaver.
Height: About 6' 5" and 6'2" respectively.
Weight: 180 and 130 lbs, respectively.
Other appearance: Vieran and Liiara wear typical whisperblade clothing: a loose, fluid combat uniform ((gi, or scrubs, either work)) with a layer of dwarven forged mithril mail underneath (cloth woven into the mail in order to reduce noise). Vieran and Liiara are both relatively tan skinned. Vieran's stripes are blue, Liiara's red and orange and alive like fire (the actual coloration changes constantly like that of a fire, her Soulfyre magic is always active in her stripe bands).

History:

Vieran and Liiara have been friends since their early childhood - after being selected for the whisperblade order, they trained together for decades as a one-of-a-kind fighting team. They were pulled from their training early by the High Priestess of Vala'ai; she hand selected them to join her personal guard and serve her in combat. After serving together in several small conflicts - mostly dealing with tactical strikes against agents of Carai Deathbringer - they served once again at the Siege of The Maughold. It was at this particular theatre of combat that they were introduced to King Rethalar Daggerweave. In the streets of the Maughold, he was able to see first hand their raw talent and untapped potential. He immediately removed them from service with the High Priestess (with her permission) and took the two under his wing as apprentices of the mystical whisperblade arts. From there they served in the march to Shadowfang Keep and played an essential role alongside Theria, Shava, Morion, Illyriel, Zhar, and the others of that band of travelers, as well as the entirety of the Reclaimer Army in recapturing the city-keep and ultimately the throne. After the group disbanded and went their separate ways, Vieran and Liiara went on to continue their apprenticeships with the King. Years later, with the Keep partly rebuilt and races from all corners arriving to seek military training, Vieran and Liiara have been sent on their way by the King, with one goal in mind: practice their skills on real world challengers as opposed to arguably the finest bladedancer Arsencia has seen.

A deeper history:

Vieran hails from a wealthy Daggerweave family, with roots stretching deep into Deathknelven history. The Lightfoots have seen their share of high ranking political positions - including the throne once or twice - and are most certainly one of the most well off Daggerweave families. From a very young age, Vieran trained with a blade in his hands, eagerly awaiting his chance to serve the king. As Shadowfang Keep burned to the ground [at this point, Vieran was about 30 years of age], he was given the majority of the family's savings and was told to seek a better life and see the restoration of the Feruelia (Shadowfang, to the outside world,) and its capital to its former glory. He traveled with the majority of the remaining deathknelven population to seek refuge in the Maughold, which they slowly infiltrated and established their own quarter in. It was in the Maughold that Vieran continued past basic training in the whisperblade order and began his work with Liiara. After decades of training in the Maughold, Vieran used his family's money to buy his privacy (and Liiara's, after he purchased a home and she moved in with him) from the Palatinate, and the two were able to hone their skills to near-perfection.

Liiara was born to a middle class Soulfyre family, the Sunsenders. Through the mandatory youth placement exams in the old Shadowfang Keep, she found herself thrust into the whisperblade order. While her education continued (she was an excellent scholar), the whisperblades turned her into a true fighting machine. Between education in magical arts - specifically soul projection and later Ebrion weaving with the whisperblades - and military training, she became both a formidable fighter and a loving comrade. The razing of SFK forced her to flee with those following the High Council to the Maughold. After arriving in the Maughold, she began to train with Vieran and developed a unique link to his mind: while not a couple nor even love interests, the two began to know what the other was thinking at any given time - an ability typically reserved to elven life partners. This link is the basis of their technique. With the rise of the Palatinate and Winter Vayu in the Maughold, Vieran kindly offered to buy Liiara her privacy and share a home with her.

Some information on fighting style:

Liiara typically plays a more conservative role, weaving Ebrion in protective layers around Vieran while he does the majority of the physical fighting: his Daggerweave magic naturally lends itself to whisperblade dancing techniques, while her Soulfyre magics amplify her ability to cast spells and thereby weave the Ebrion. The two will fight in tandem to execute intricate combination attacks on their enemies if viable. These spectacular displays typically result in either mortal injuries or death in a speedy manner.

Of course, my dear Copaman, your characters are approved. They are also taller than I imagined. Looking forward to the detailed history.
I hope I am a good enough writer that some day dwarves kill me and drink my blood for wisdom.

Edited. History is more or less complete, unless you see something you'd like changed.

Basically, between them they do what Tom did on his own, is what you're saying. Fair enough, I guess. Although you said Vieran was about 50 when SFK was razed. I thought it was much longer ago than that. I'd had this impression of it having been centuries ago, or at least a couple of hundred years, not 92. But the Deathknelve are your creation, in your part of the world. So if this is the way you want it to be, that's cool.
I hope I am a good enough writer that some day dwarves kill me and drink my blood for wisdom.

Tom was of-age when the Keep was burned; he's a good 20 years older than they are. 50 years is a bit steep. Fixing...

And eh. They aren't quite as good as Tom. He's too busy doing Kingly things to get them trained enough to be as good as he is. The biggest difference will be that Vieran has no god mode. Liiara doesn't either. Her magics aren't strong enough.

A quick rundown on Ebrion weaving:

Basically, it takes threads of magic energy (Ebrion) and weaves them around the wielder's target. Very hard to do well. Liiara is only going to use it in light layers of basic protective spells or healing spells - stuff like actively healing small cuts and scrapes, protecting from bruises and broken bones, making Vieran just that little bit harder to hit or that little bit more agile, etc. It does require a small preparation and an Ebrion song does have to be sung in order to weave.
