Hometown: A small house just outside Pewter City, on the Viridian Forest side
Background: Kieran has had, in his own opinion, a boring life. Now he's decided he's old enough he's leaving home with his pet of a few years: Nero, a Nidoran (male) and as much money as he could get quickly

Also, any suggestions for a last name? (If I really need one)

I'd say two things: 1) if you don't mind, make him 18 years old. There are still legal issues and, as I mentioned to SWG, trainer crews wouldn't be very likely to accept someone they see as a child or any kind of liability. It's a dangerous and physical lifestyle. 2) Do you have any preference as to what kind of surname you would like? Really, just pick one at random that vaguely suits his heritage.

But yeah, those two tiny changes, if you wouldn't mind, and then it's all fine and dandy and approved.

Well, one of the legal issues would be that the pokémon league wouldn't accept him until he turned 18, so he couldn't win any badges or even enter the gyms, and another legal issue would be that people under 18 aren't allowed to take up careers as trainers, so if he was caught battling for anything other than self-defence his pokémon would be confiscated by the police. So there you go, not worth the risk of setting out early.

So Kanto is a 'nanny state' too? Arresting you for doing anything you might get hurt doing? Sounds like Britain these days.
I got a last name, Allen, so my guy's called Kieran Allen.

No, not arresting you for doing anything you might get hurt doing, confiscating your means to significantly hurt other people if you get it wrong. It's more like Britain's gun laws than Britain's nanny state-ing.
