...I'd kill George Lucas in a heartbeat for a chance for us to get another space fighter sim just as long as it wasn't set in the Clone Wars.
A little extreme, don't you think?

<DevXen> Today I was at the store and saw a Darth Vader action figure that said "Choking Hazard." It was great.

They were intimating about a new X-wing series game a while back. That's the last anyone heard of it, I take it?my best bet is that the air combat game is a tie in to Red Tails, but the other 2 games seem like they may be star wars related, as i cant really see a non star wars title for lucasarts being a shooter or an RPG
Besides that, I'd like to see a Jedi Knight that pits Kyle against the Vong. In the meantime though, you can play him in PR as a tactical third-person shooter - he starts Operation Skyhook at New Kisge, which is right next door to Danuta .

That would make George Lucas a massive pile of money and simultaneously please Star Wars fans. He won't do it because he enjoys feasting on our nerdrage whenever someone says the word "Jar-Jar Binks" or "younglings", and there are no Gungans or younglings in the Jedi Knight games.incidentally, the 20th anniv of DF is coming up soon. this would be a treat : all 5 DF games, including mysteries of the sith and JA, remade with upgraded gfx, sound, ui, mechanics, etc. best part is that you could probably fit it all on 1, maybe 2 dvd's tops
And for that reason, we're getting The Phantom Menace in 3D, which will still suck, only now in 3D, instead of A New Hope in 3D, which would be one of the most awesome things ever and generate much new interest in Star Wars both from old people who saw the original back in 1977 and children seeing it for the first time.

That makes me feel old...
Yeah...that makes two of us.
If it's hard then it's worth doing.

Goldorak m'aidera. Au besoin, j'irai jusqu'au camp de la Lune Noire
puisque c'est là que Véga et ses monstres ont établi leur base. Et je la
détruirai.

He'd splice in JarJar now being luke's copilot in a brand new two seater x-wing that screws cannon even more. I don't want him to touch them anymore, they've been molested enough by his dirty old hands in the special editions. And for that reason, we're getting The Phantom Menace in 3D, which will still suck, only now in 3D, instead of A New Hope in 3D, which would be one of the most awesome things ever and generate much new interest in Star Wars both from old people who saw the original back in 1977 and children seeing it for the first time.

personally i liked battlefront, i know it was released at the same time as redone versions of the original films being released and thats probably the reason we got a new game set in that era. but you'd think someone at lucasarts would have a look at what was selling well at the moment (battlefield 3 and COD for example) and think 'we could make some money putting out battlefront 3'.
i'd love to see a modern x-wing game also, i fire it up every now and then, still a great game.
suppose what i'm getting at is they do make some gems, but they dont seem to notice what we're buying and what is given good reviews and blindly put out garbage to fit with whatever GL is up to at the time.
cant remember if this is on topic or not, end rant lol
