i can only imagine. oh, quick question while i'm here. how can i view the framerate that i currently have? im trying to experiment with different settings so i can run GFFA with reasonable speed until 1.2 comes out, but i couldnt find the "cheat" for it.

There isn't one in galactic mode. You'll need a third party program like FRAPs or xfire.
