Had to laugh out loud when they went to the second scene there, and the final part is good as well :)

Har... yea, that recently popped up on Meme base for me awhile ago. I'm not sure what that box on his head is supposed to be, but he sure does do whatever it does well, I suppose. And what a sad ending...

They don't have flashpoles, speed camera's, whatever, in America? Boxes that flash your license plate automatically when you're speeding?

I'm pretty sure it's a speed camera.

Well maybe, but I don't drive or visit cities often, so I'm not an expert on that.

Speed cameras: a European socialist conspiracy? :)

I think we have it quite nice up here, the rules say that the government is not allowed to hide the cameras and there has to be clear signs a moderately random distance before the camera itself. In the UK I hear they get camouflaged like hell and are generally just there to fuck you up.

They do the same shit here. They camouflage them, move them around, put them up for a few weeks then take them away again... they even have mobile ones they can set up for a few hours just so they can get you when you don't expect it.

On the topic of Rémi Gaillard:

One of the best I've ever seen from him, apart form the classics like Mario Kart and his impostor series.

We've had an reduction in speed cameras the last years. The cops figured they were not very effective with all the digital warning systems and the likes. But they've gone over to average measurements on certain distances, which is much more frustrating really.

I thought is was hillarious when he started chasing the cars as they were slowing down, and then he started running from the police. Classic stuff.

His sense of direction is pretty damn fine too. That moment where he blitzes the airplane as it flies by is perfect; you expect there to be another car coming by, but your expectations gets subverted and you laugh :).

It's also fun that he starts running after people, but I guess that is just to make them realize that this is just crazy shit. That he runs from the police is also hilarious, but it gets him arrested, so I guess he has to be prepared for a fine or two when he makes these movies.

You also have to imagine how many shots he probably did in comparison to the good ones he actually posted.

In theory speed cameras in the UK also have to have signs beforehand, and be painted yellow. I don't know if that's a law or just consensus. However, there are arbitrary exceptions.
