i am running windows 7 64 bit, i have all the patches and updates to the game, i have the 64 bit patch for PR as well, all the files and folders are in the right places the only other mods i have are v1.1 and v1.0 of PR and i have tried v1.2 with the others completely deleted ( i have since re-installed them) but nothing works, the game gets to the loading screen and just stops.
help please

It shows the PR logo loading screen and not the default? I assume you're already familiar with the fact that it takes a long time to load, too.
Just to be sure...
The file path goes something like: C:\Program Files (x86)\LucasArts\Star Wars Empire at War Forces of Corruption\Mods\Phoenix_Rising_v1.2
And you do have the FoC 1.1 patch, right? No scripts/XML folders in the base game Data folder?

Best I can advise is to reinstall the whole game, install the FoC 1.1 patch, than PR 1.2 and then check if it works. Then try 64-bit patch if that doesn't work.

I suggest reading through this thread. A lot of people with similar problems. I crashed like you did too, but solved it the first day of release by deleting the foc/data/XML folder

So what you're saying is that I should just uninstall my steam version and reinstall my original disc based EAW and FOC? I had lost the FOC disc 1 for a while but recently found it YAY!!! Sigh...waste of 20 bucks to buy gold pack...here we go...

Ok, so I'm having troubles installing PR 1.2 in my retail version of FOC. Why is it you dev guys seem to have no problem running it on your setups with retail and many others time and time again have this issue? It works for my gold pack on steam. But only if I don't have steam running first. Steam has to be off, then I start the game and it will load into PR after I click the play FOC button and then ok. Don't know why that is. Anyway, any help would be appreciated.
