NeoTokyo is one of the most awesome MP mods that I have ever played for Source.

It's simple awesome. Futurist warfare with cool vision modes, it's amazing. Well polished and plays very well.

Anyone up to frag? They have just realesed an update.

Looks like something fun to invest in, but it's nothing I would play competitively.  Maybe when I get my channel up, we can do sum team play for a mod review.

But doing some sort of team work (guild would be weird, but not unheard of) in a Source Engine department may not be terrible.  Gary's Mod is always fun and draws a crowd when a mad man comes along and thinks up an idea that shatters hearts and minds.

neo-tokyo got famous from the Akira movie, which starts by nuking old-tokyo.

Anyway, looks like a sort of Ghost in the Shell inspired FPS. Not a bad idea, but personally I'd add some sort of close-combat system and use a close third-person view. But it seems popular so thats good for them, if they can make it the bigger the market for those kinds of cyberpunk will get.
