God that English is bad, anyway, whats Interesting is he's a 2 poster user from no-where.
We should make a fake network staff rank, that has no powers, just the icon, then promote him for the hell of it
the group could be "Nefwork Statt" or something

Geez, there's no need to be that rude with a newcomer...

Maybe that's why we don't get many new people around here... Can't we just tone town for a bit and explain him that to be Network Staff you must be very active on the forums and then you must apply in a recruiting season or be invited to join us? Is it that too hard to do?

 

Or shall we start bashing him for showing interest to know how things work around here?

Because, maybe I don't understand english, but he's not asking to be network staff he just wants to know how somone gets to be Network Staff... And maybe if he were asking to be network staff, well, that's not a problem either.

You must first gather pollen from many threads, you must show yourself and how responsible you can be, and over all a willingness and a obvious dedication to that area in particular
and if the sun god Phil or his sisters the stars see you as worthy of such a role, they would endow you with such powers to fly the heavens



In other words, if you show your an active user, reliable and show a constant interest and dedication to a section, and above all are willing to clean up and improve a section for its years to come, then you just may get promoted. and if there is no current need to be promoted, you can always ask Phil, he makes most of the final decisions here
