Hey everyone!

 

It has been a while and I would like to announce that I have returned to Revora and give Yuri's Revenge modding another go.

 

The following shows a bit of my work and the concept of the mod C&C Amnesia:

 

The mod will focus on self-assembly of branches to get combination of technologies on units. With the help of the technology of Ares I hope to create some unique experience which will be considered great towards the players.

Before I can really start with the mod again I have three questions/requests

 

The first one: 

For a new start I would like to use a new name for the mod. Therefore I would like to ask if it is possible to rename the current domain (nuked.cncguild.net) to amnesia.cncguild.net.

 

The second one:

As I already have an forum section which is inactive, is it possible to rename it to C&C Amnesia and make it an active Yuri's Revenge mod again that uses ARES.

 

The last one, which is not hosted related but I'll put it here anyway:

Can someone please change my usename on this forum to 'Thear'

Sure. I am around since 2004 and since 2007 on Revora. I used to lead the mod: C&C Nuked and C&C Nuked². Next to that I coded/mapped for my friend HopalongTom's mod: C&C HopalongTom's Revenge.

 

Recently I came back to give modding another try with a fresh concept. Mainly Ares and the modern content and tools made me give another attempt.

Alright, I've renamed the subdomain (the old one also works but redirects to the new one) and renamed and moved the forums. Let me know if you need anything else.

OTOH, Ares gave back my modding motivation as well 3 years ago. (even if in 2006 my modding was basically got crushed by the first IE xD)

Thanks a lot Phil! Everything seems to work. I've deployed the new site and it went very smoothly. The only thing that is left, from my side, is to fix the newsfeed. I'll do that tomorrow

Woa. The 0.71 release. I might have that as well. Maybe I should check out what I've baked back then haha

 

EDIT: I just found the final build of C&C Nuked. There are some serious bugs in that mod. Maybe I should make a new version which fixes them all.

Typo, yes. I mean Tank Treads.
 
I know the AI can handle upgrades. If they can't handle it properly, I guess the full-upgraded buildings for AI are the way to go.
