Apart from the wall and lightning (but not clouds') textures, entirely made in Photoshop.

Damn, I'm proud of those clouds.

Those clouds seem positively roiling. Creating the illusion of movement in a static piece is good on you.

To what precisely does the title of the piece refer?

Thanks, y'all. But, yeah, 'Immersion' is actually a reference to literally what the piece portrays: the submergence of Numenor under the waves. Maybe a little too dramatic, but melodrama's always good.

Hm. If that's the case, I'd have expected a water motif and color palette more so than the fire I'm seeing in the composition. Then again, of course, such input is purely subjective.

Yeah, looks like some kind of surreal firey apocalypse, especially with the lightning. I feel like theres way too much texture effects applied over it that it just looks like an attempt to add extra detail and instead looks messy.
