So it took a bit of a hiatus from these forums and am just coming back. What's new?? How's the mod?

Well, we've basically taken the "completely ignore" stance on the Disney-pushing-aside-the-EU thing. The mod is currently in a closed beta, though most of the core team has been busy with real life over the past couple of months so there hasn't been great progress. Hopefully we can get some news out sometime soon. I might write it myself if PR and Ghost remain too busy.

That's probably the best stance a fan can take at this point without any new content. But I'm sure Mod DB would love a post to renew faith. The scale you guys are undertaking is huge so I get the quietness.
What part of the mod are you working on if I might ask?

Personally, I've been fixing up mapping issues, modelling infantry weapons, and doing a bunch of campaign testing.

Bob, any plans to implement the E-web or other crew served infantry weapons ?

E-Webs and similar weapon systems would be a great addition, IMO
 

come to think of it, since all the games and such are basically considered non-canon, in theory, you could bring new weapons and systems that seem plausible to the table

We want to add the E-Web at some point I think. Unfortunately PR has had some severe computer problems recently which have prevented him being around, and I had exams etc so things have been quiet recently.
