I've just updated the server with new code (sorry for disconnecting everyone, but it was necessary). Let's hope this fixes the nicknames-staying-online error that affected so many of you.
EDIT: If you experience a sudden "Lost the connection to ..." error in the future, it might be me restarting the server with updates. So check this forum first before you report a problem.

What is my username and nickname?
This is not the topic for these questions, but I'll humor you. Note that these questions are all answered on our website's installation guide.
Your username is the name you registered with. For Generals, ZH, and RA3, it's your e-mail address (as the game says). Your nickname can be freely chosen as long as it isn't taken or reserved (old GameSpy nicknames can be claimed in the Member Management subforum).

When servers have more population I think it would be nice to schedule and announce Server maintenance. Otherwise you may cut tournament matches or similar.

I've just update the server code with some small fixes. I'm on holiday though so I can't really fix the deeper issues in the code. Let's hope this solves some of the problems.
