yup
a "double launch" for some reason seems to allow my password... although for ea acct name i had to put "hyde" instead of "Hyde"
so
1 - launch C&C online
2 - click C&C 3
3 - click "online"
4 - click windows button back to desktop
5 - click C&C 3 again
it launches game a second time... then password works and BAM!, I'm in... only I'm the only one... no one to play against ><

Read how to post...
Before game launches through CNC-online i get an error beep then "CA public key patching routine failed" although game still launches
Next...
"cant find specified account or sub account"
what do I do as I am typing in exactly what I set up with Revora
...< Mr.Hyde >... was my original Revora account name then due to login error for Revora admin changed it to Mr.Hyde
So now i can login to revora with Mr.Hyde but it shows up in the top right corner still as ... <Mr.Hyde > ...
Now normally this would be no big deal I suppose... except that when i try to use Mr.Hyde on login to C&C3 it says cant find accnt and when i try to use ...< Mr.Hyde >... there is not enough
space to put the full name in arrrrggggggggggggggg!
:( very upset as I play cnc3 everyday :(
or used to up until today :( - HELP PLEASE

I get the same error message public key patching routine failed.
I also cant seem to login as it keeps coming saying invalid password and im confused how this whole thing works.

daniel you have to put the password in, i did mine wrong i had to put my username in the password bit,i did it wrong somewhere

password was put in.... i believe its because my name still shows up as "...< Mr.Hyde >..." on profile even though its been changed to "Mr.Hyde" for login to Revora
so... it needs to be changed to "Mr.Hyde" as the profile name the ...< >... part of my name needs to be removed by admin as I
cant find anywhere to change profile name myself

Your Log In name was changed, not your display name on these forums (that is unrelated to C&C:Online).

MAIN PROBLEM...
cannot find account or sub acct
password is correct and only username Mr.Hyde will fit - if you can launch with that info then tell me how to do it
because it wont work for me, you have access to my online password right its on my profile?
Secondary problem...

Windows 7 operating sysytem

I changed your Log In name to just 'Hyde'.
Try to log in with that as Account Name,
your C&C:Online password as Password (you have set it in your profile)
and whatever nickname you want (so long as you haven't used it on GameSpy, in which case it's likely reserved and you'll have to claim it in Member Management).

I tried changing password in profile as suggested in the common problems posting but still does
not work...

Yes, that breaks the launcher. I don't know what causes this. Which operating system are you on? Maybe it's caused by antivirus software?

error seems to have stopped but now not accepting my password :(
Tried changing it on profile, still says "user supplied invalid password" ?
soooo close now I can almost taste it ><

and you are sure to type in the C&C:Online password and not your forum password?

yes i'm using the online password, i even tried both just to be sure - no luck
My original password had a number in it so I tried changing online password to a word with no number in it as well - no luck

Yeah it seems there are some issues regarding passwords. I've passed them on.

I had similar problems, try this,
Open C&C online (opening as as adminstrator) and lauch C&C3.
Wait until its loaded and your on the menu.
Now click the Window key on your keyboard, this will take you back to the desktop.
No go back onto C&C online and click C&C3, (don't worry it wont open another C&C but rather re-open you already loaded).
Now attempt a login, it should work as it did for me.

the ERROR: "CA public key patching routine failed" was solved by running compatibility test...
it detected and asked me to run this program with win xp service pac 2...
once i agreed it no longer has error on launch of game
still need help with password login issue though

Keep trying the idea i said, it works for me even know i used to get the CA key error thingy.
