Generals ZH Help

Best Answer Traith, 03 August 2014 - 05:29 AM

I had this problem. It was a registry issue.

1. Run regedit

2. Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Electronic Arts\EA Games\Generals

3. There should be a value named InstallPath. Make sure the value is set to the Install directory and NOT to the Generals base game sub-directory. For example, my install directory is V:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Command and Conquer Generals Zero Hour, but the InstallPath value was set to V:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Command and Conquer Generals Zero Hour\Command and Conquer Generals. (This is what causes Generals to work but not ZH)

4. Once you have the InstallPath set properly, reinstall the fixed launchers.

I hooked generals and ZH the way the guide says to do. I got generals working to play online with friends but ZH still says Installation not found when booting from C&C Online or Origin. Can anyone help me out?
