A report of hacking has been made against the Revora Member Coil (playing as Coil) and the adjudicator has found the report proven, subject to any explanation that Coil might have. A further report of hacking has been made against the Revora Member _Theory (playing as Authority) and the adjudicator has found that report also proven, subject to any explanation that Authority might have. The report and decision can be found here Authority (aka _Theory, aka Coil) - Hack - ® in the Gamereplays Kane's Wrath Fair Play forum.

By an IP match and other corroborating evidence, it has been determined that Coil and Authority are one and the same.

In the absence of a satisfactory and exonerating explanation in both reports, the reports will be confirmed. In the absence of credible evidence explaining the IP matches, Coil and Authority will be treated as one and the same.

Coil and Authority or either of them have three clear days to provide a satisfactory and exonerating explanation for both reports and to dispute that they are one and the same.

WARNING If either report is publically confirmed, it is likely to result in a long suspension or permanent ban from online play. It is recommended that Coil and Authority put forward any explanation or mitigation that they might have within that three days. The explanations may be provided either here or in the report topics on Gamereplays (linked above).

The three clear days we gave Coil and Authority to explain themsleves in respect of the two reports against them and to dispute that they are one and the same have expired but we have not heard from them or either of them. Accordingly, both reports are now formally confirmed and Coil and Authority are to be treated as one and the same individual.

A second hacking offence may result in a permanent ban from online play. As both of the offences in question occurred on the same day, I will not treat this offence as making for a second offence. However, I ought to mark that two offences have been committed and that they have been committed using duplicate Revora accounts, which is contrary to the Revora Forum rules. Accordingly, I am going to suspend this player from online play for a period of 90 days. In addition, the duplicate Revora account Coil and a further duplicate account Theory_ will be permanently banned from the Revora Forums and therefore from online play.

Although it did not form any part of the decision to confirm the reports or as to penalty, it has been determined that this player is the GameSpy player_Theory.

WARNING: An attempt to create a further duplicate account at Revora to circumvent this suspension is likely to result in all of the Revora accounts held by this individual being permanently banned. At the very least, such an attempt will result in an extended suspension.
