Hi there!

 

Ive cracked my CCG because i dont want to put in the CD every time i play. And I guess my CD wont work anymore because its full of scratces. Is there no way to use Revora with a cracked versioN???

The only crack that has been confirmed to work is the one included in The First Decade unofficial patch 1.03 rev4. http://www.cncnz.com...official-patch/

so i cant use your services without a CCG-CD running in my drive? i tried it without the crack in deamon tools. game didnt start :(

Plokite_Wolf just answered that question.

 

99% of cracks won't work. This is not a design choice, but a limitation. Cracks change the game's 'version', and we can't disable the game code that refuses to let different versions play together (and even if we could, we wouldn't).

 

You'll need a working CD or use a mini image with Daemon Tools.

so i cant use it with a no cd crack... understood.

 

i got the german version of ccg. on which verison do i have to patch? the patch u linked is fpr the english version of the game. isnt it possible to play with the german verison also?

what is a mini image? i have normal image files. i used it for the installation

i patched german verison on 108 now, installed gentool, didnt install a no cd crack. and i got deamon tools running with the image in it... but it doesnt work. when i try to start the game via C&COnline it says: "cant launch generals"

 

launching the game from deamon tools is also not possible. do i need another image file???

Firstly, you are confusing patches for Generals/Zero Hour with patches for The First Decade. While it is true that the TFD 1.03 rev4 patch only works properly with the English version, the crack might be of use with the German version. Might. But I don't know how you can extract the crack if you don't have TFD.

 

Mini-images are stripped-down MDF/MDS files similar to ISOs, containing only as many files as the game actually checks in its CD check when it's run (and often mimics the actual disc size in your hard drive, so I hope you have some space free). Just Google "Command & Conquer Generals (Zero Hour) mini-image".

first of all thx for your help... but sadly i still got problems...

 

game is now installed in german, patch-version is 108 as it is advised on cnc-online, gentool in its latest version is installed. i downloaded the mini image by schlüpfer. i am able to start the game by mini image now. but the launcher from C&COnline still wont work. it says: "generals cant be launched"

 

i installed the game on another partition than windows partition. could this be the problem???

 

im realy hard interested in playing the game again. if it runs i will donate!

You don't need the launcher if you installed the latest gentool.

lol it works now without the launcher... but no one online there. game seems to be dead :-( rly sad

For some reason, Generals isn't very popular on C&C:Online. You should have more luck in Zero Hour, though.

i only like ccg. played survival mods 2v2v2 a lot. was soooo much fun. im going to watch at the weekend hopefully some ppl going to come in there
