• What version of the game are you using: Normal
• What kind of error: Cannot connect to Generals Online when I try to login
• What operating system: Windows 7
• Your error log file: I cannot provide as I use gentool

Yes I have read the help thread and have been searching the forums for the last day or two, theres no fixes I see.

Edit: I have tried multiple nicknames, when I type an existing nickname it says its already taken. So I think it has connected just IDK.

Have been trying every now and then to see if the problem is resolved. I still cannot connect to the ZH online servers, was really looking forward to this as it looks promising.

tryed to uninstall gentool and worked, but no gentool bad graphics

Hold on both of you. Just to clarify something: If you are using GenTool then you shouldn't be using the launcher.

@Aviator, the name Aviator is reserved to another member in a different game, so it will show as already in use. According to my records, you have connected already, so the problem is probably just the name you are using. You have already made several new names. Are you still having a problem?

I have just bought this game thru origin and cannot access online either. I used to have this game years ago but since then created new email addreses etc.

 

I keep getting this message:

 

'Could not connect to C&C Generals Zero Hour Online'

 

I have followed your youtube instructions and still cannot get online. 

 

Please help, really looking forward to getting back into this gme.

Yes I'm trying a random name at the moment. If i try the same name as someone else it tells me its in use, likewise if I enter the wrong password. Just no connect when everythings fine.

I'm having the same problem with Kane's Wrath, i've followed all instructions and i'm trying random nicknames and same message appears: "Could not connect to Kane's Wrath online."

1. Tried different nicknames
2. Was using it through the cnc online launcher, switched to gentool. Same thing.
3. I get incorrect password error if the password is wrong, so it must be connecting to your servers.
4. Run as admin
5. Yes I use the 1.04 patch
6. Firewall is off (temporarily)

Telling us to read the solutions thread over and over is not a solution, none of those issues are our issue (atleast its not mine).

@the incorrect password error - that means you are using your Revora forum password instead of your C&C:Online password. Also, you need to unhook Gen/ZH from the launcher to make GenTool's alternative work right.

And yes, constantly linking people to the pinned threads is the solution because 99% of all issues is covered there, yet many people say they read everything when they didn't. If one can't give full info on what one's problem is and what one tried, we cannot and will not come to assist, as we don't want to waste time on people who aren't willing to do even minimal effort to fix their own problem.

True, sorry just wanna play already. Had already uninstalled the launcher and the incorrect password was only to test if its connecting at all. I get the error that it cant connect after entering the right password.

Yea I did, although I havn't tried changing my revora password to test it out. Will get back to you.

You should not log in with your Revora password. You will need to use the CNC Online password.
