Greetings, commanders and comrades! Statistics recording and automatic 1v1 and 2v2 ranked ladders have been enabled for Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars, Command & Conquer 3: Kane's Wrath and Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3 on C&C:Online with the launcher update 2.0.6!
Statistics are now being recorded and display to players in each game. Those statistics, along with a live display of 1v1 and 2v2 ladder standings are available on Shatabrick/cco. There are plans to display the ladders and statistics on other sites, including the C&C:Online website. In line with that, further functionality has been added to Shatabrick to allow you to look up all C&C:Online player accounts and statistics.
In Tiberium Wars and Kane's Wrath, player rank icons will level up too, provided they have upgraded their launchers.
The ladders operate a simplified Elo system, where a variable number of points are awarded or deducted for a win or a loss, based on the number of points held by each player or team. That system can be adjusted in future to suit the needs of each game.
Please note: Matches will not be treated as ranked and may not record statistics at all unless all of the players in the game have the updated launcher (2.0.6) installed. Having observers in the game that do not have that launcher installed may effect reporting too. You can tell whether one of the players or observers in the game does not have the launcher installed if you get a "stats" error ("Problems connecting to the stats server. Match results may not be reported") at the start of the match. That is why it is vital that everybody upgrades. In future, players without that launcher may not be able to get online at all. Upgrade now!
At present, only certain maps will rank (whether or not they are shown as ranked). All of the official ranked maps should play as ranked.
