Hey guys. I've installed everything according to the installation guide and I've also looked through the "common issue" thread. Neither does fix my problem.

I'm using the Ultimate Collection and my OS is Win7 x64 Ultimate

I get a connection problem message when I try to start a game online. It doesn't matter if I host or join a game. The hoster always gets the same error.

logfile:

I've forwarded port 16000. changed the config files to the ones I found on the forum. I have also deactivated any other network adapter or firewall / antivirus.

Hope you can help me out

Usually this is a Red Alert 3 problem...

I'll put some solutions worked on my RA3, I hope these things can help you:

- Disable antivirus and firewall (local firewall and eventually the firewall in the router)

- Try to set your PC as DMZ zone

A PC situated in a DMZ zone usually has all ports open so it shouldn't block nothing (including the network traffic relative to your game).

There're different ways to set up  DMZ for different routers, you can try to use Google to find solution...

There is another solution for RA3 and I hope it work also for Kane's Wrath:

I've never played Kane's Wrath, but probably it has a similiar folder and a similiar "Options.ini" in that directory:

Just type in your windows search: options.ini and you should look for the options.ini from the Red Alert 3 map. For me it was in: C:\Users\(name)\AppData\Roaming\Red Alert 3\Profiles\(Profilename)*
* I changed my name to (name) and my profilename to (profilename)
(For ultimate edition: Look for the Red Alert 3 one not for the Generals or Zero Hour!! )

If you found open this file (options.ini) Look for the line:

FirewallPortOverride: xxxx

Just delete it!!!

When I deleted this line my connection problems were gone. Simple as that.

Yeah, IPv4 tunneling is a bit beyond my expertise, I'm afraid.

I have this problem on RA3. I tried both solutions, and I still have the problem. Do you know what else I can do?

I'm sorry, personally I don't know any other alternatives. But are you sure that your DMZ is set up correctly?
