cant log on to generals zero hour

zero hour

Best Answer hawk86, 15 February 2015 - 04:00 PM

ok so I managed to sort the problem out, what it was, was that when I was uninstalling zero hour it wasn`t completely uninstalling everything, it was keeping patches etc. so I downloaded perfect uninstaller from a torrent site and removed everything, then I went through the whole installation process again., including putting gentool, cnc online etc, and did all relevant updates, and now it works fine :-).

can anyone help?  I want to play generals zero hour on windows 7 64bit, I`ve created an account with revora and try logging in through cconline, but everytime I click to play online it says lost connection to zero hour online. I can however get on to generals online but when I try to play with my friend it says waiting for probe response and then fails to connect. I have also updated zero hour and generals and also use gentool.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

thx,

hawk86.

Please remove any Hamachi drivers you have installed. Then go to Options from the main menu and check that the IP address shown in "OnlineIP" is an address on the network that you use to connect to the internet (192.168 or 10 something). If there is more than one, change it to the other.

Hi toxic, thx for your reply, where do I find hamachi drivers? As far as I know I don't have any.

I also looked at the ip address in options and there is only the 1 ip available. I`ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game as well and that hasn`t helped.

If you have Windows 7, Go Control Panel->Hardware and Sound -> Devices and Sound-> Device Manager. Then open the Network adaptors tab. If you have Hamachi drivers, they should be shown there.

I think you can search "Network Adaptors" from the search charm in Win 8.

my network adaptor is a realtek pcie, thers no Hamachi at all :-(. is there anything else to try? funny thing is it was working at first I could log on to zero hour online, but still got the waiting for probe response and failed to connect to other players, but then I tried to put content in my options.ini folder that I seen on youtube and it has never worked since, but I did delete that and then reinstalled zero hour and it still wont work.
