Posted by Well it seems a new modem/router has solved my issue, not only that I dont have the "losing con every 5 mins" issue. Just so you know my previous modem/router that gave me nothing but trouble was a Netgear CG3000 and the new one is a Netgear CG3000 2.0. Also, before I installed the new one I tried putting my modem/router into bridge mode and using another router, this fixed the issue as well. So the problem was in fact with my old modem/router.
