This is a preview of the latest additions to the mod . :lol:
1 - Isildur a playable Character ,replacing Tom Bombadil
Galadriel has Two Forms - New power - Elven Treasue Chests
2 - Tower of Baraddur At Mordor Fortress
Balrog Created at Mordor Castle
Nazguls have Horse and Fellbeast
3- Men and Elves have Devensive and offensive Statues
4- Drogoth has mini-army he can summon ,can be built at Isengard / Wild Fortress
5- opps (no 5) - Should be 7 - Isengard Lightning Towers Auto powered .
6- Phoenix ,has auto powers and re-borns on battlefield
7 - New FX for Gandalf the white and Aragorn Blademaster
8 - New men hero with new powers not in BFME2 ,shown with a group of helpers
9 - WK has red power Blast and summon 3 Fellbeast power
10 - Sauron has 3 Forms .Small ,Super and as a Balrog
11 - When playing with Mordor You can Build a HERO Building to get the Heroes From Other Factions
12 - Sauron Staue with Offensive and Devensive Auto -Abilities
13 - Balrog with new FireBall Ability (Quite Deadly!)
14 - New mordor Hero with henchmen and a warg Follower !
15 - Eye has a 2 power - Fire and Auto -Repel
16 - Men Also can Build Heroes From Other Factions (not much but they have Power upgrades )
17 - Most Major Heroes have More than 6 powers ,
some like the WK and Sauron have more than 12 as they have more forms
18 - Mordor Battle Towers now Deadly Sorcery Towers With Auto Powers

OTHER STUFF :All heroes plaintir Filled with powers eg Eomer can summon Rohirrim cavalry
Drogoth can summon Mini-Flying Dragons
WK can Summon 3 Fellbeasts
Sharku can summon Wargriders
Elrond can Train Heroes and Troops

Frodo is playable .Just uncomment in the playertemplate file
He is a ring bearer with Two Forms .He can Chose to Stay hidden or use the Ring
at the Fortress . I use him For the Custom Maps

Gollum is playable as well with tons of powers

New Building are in workers Palintir (to prevent Crashes)

The game can be tweaked at gamedata file

Balrog HERO has EXP levels /powers
Men /Mordor /Dwarven Catapult aiming data adjusted

Game Mechanics :Frodo Starts with the ring -He can stay hidden or Win the game by Going into mordor
I have created 3 custom maps using the win if Frodo is in area MOUNTDOOM script

Galadriel has two forms -She can Create permanent elven wood and Drop Treasure Chest on summon
She has a Totally Deadly Form (not shown) But is on a timer as the ring will kill her

Sauron is the Deadliest hero and has Three Forms -Small , Super and Balrog
He cannot Stay in Each Form For too long ony as small
He has one weakness .The Ghost of Isildur can Kill Him with Narsil Attack - Summoned instead of Tom Bombadil

NOTES ON MAPS :
===============

The JusSauron_best and JusSauron_lotr work on the premise that Frodo has the ring .You must therefore dis-able Ring Hero
Men can Win the Game by Getting him to Mount Doom . Gollum is playable at Mordor Fortress and Nazguls are Equiped to find the ring .

Frodo can also Chose to Use the one Ring To get Galadriel.

The maps work with the mod or can work without the mod . The Gameplay is the same But No Upgardes For heroes / Faction

The map JUS_SAURON_LOTR contains Scripted Stuff to create the Movie as best as possible

It's great you have come so far. It's also nice to know that many people have given you a hand and you where able to put it to good use. :lol:

This is NOT the news forum, though. Don't just open a new thread for every seperate thing you want to say.

So:
  • If you have questions, put them all in a single thread, preferrably one of your own. If you think the title of the thread isn't appropriate, you can always change it by editing the first post of the thread, provided it is your post and your thread of course.
  • If it is some new thing you found out and you want to share it, make an article out of it instead of a post, HERE.
  • If you want to keep people up to date on already progressing stuff, like your mod, the make a post in the latest of Rob38's news threads HERE.

EDIT : THE MOD IS ON 3RD AGE ALSO ;) :p

It is an INI Folder mod so just remove your INI.BIG File and drop this in the DATA Folder
It comes with Install instructions !

I will also soon post some HUGE Maps with scripts to work with the mod :
It will work with the gameplay as Frodo has ring and must drop it in mount Doom
He has the ONE RING Abilities from BfME1

Why I posted it here :The file seems to big for some other forums and I was having trouble uploading it
to other sites .

I will upload 3 maps Soon .2 are finished and one needs scrip help (see WORLDBUILDER FORUM)

Reason for DoublePosting ETC :
I have some serios studies to do and will not be modding for some time ! :sad2:
I worked on this one mod for 2 years before actually comming to the forum as i only now got Broadband !
I wanted to share my MOD and give back to the community of 3rd age and revora . :cool2:

No worries .I made a post at 3rd age .If this is the Wrong forum my apologies.I like the way the forum is handled.
Please contact the administrator (or if you are one ) to move the Topic in the right form.

The reason I cant do it is my SLOW internet.It took me 24 hours to actually upload these files so deleting /re-uploading not an option :shiftee:
PS - I made the post at 3rd age but dont know if it is Downloadable from my files option .Again I would need Help with this.

The post at 3rd age allowed me to give descrition only . Then I clicked ready for public use .
The files are already stored in my 3rd age file space so I hope everyone can get to them .
As this is my first time uploading the mod I am a bit Green as to what goes where ;) .Again my apologies .

AGAIN :Thanks to 3rd age and revora for this excellent Forum with very helpful people .
I will be getting down to some serious studies so BYE for Now .

I will probably be removing the attachmen from this Forum as you can get it at 3rd Age .

As The mod seems to be taking off (IMO anyway ;) )

I will try to give more balance to the factions :
It was intended to be a MEN VS MODOR or GOOD VS EVIL type game
where 1 person will get all the good side stuff and player 2 Evil .

AS there are internet / LAN gaming utilizing all factions more balance will give no
side a greater advantage but the basic gameplay will remain the same .
As I like to take my time when de-bugging /Idea implementing ETC it wont be on the site for a while

Hi it is fantastic this mod

 

When i play at evil campaign map evil lorien2, the game ask to built a troll cave to finish the match. but is impossible to built a troll cave from the goblin cave or in other mode.  Or even a tunnel

Hi , thanks for playing and liking the mod !

I will test and upload a fix soon

 

I did some more coding so here it is

 

MEN TENT 

Porter builds a tent 

the tent contains a Rohan Horde ; not buildable , but garrisoned 

The tent randomly Spawns a CampFire that Heals all units

The camp fire lasts for about 2 mins

The camp fire vanishes and will respawn in about 5 mins 

The tent is Garrisonable by one horde ; no Heroes no Cavalry etc

 

So if the Rohan Horde dies , you still have the use of the tent and campfire

The tent has CommandPoint Bonus of 50 ; the troop size

 

WILDMEN TENT

Same idea for the wildmen for balance

 

The Rohan Horde

They can toggle sword and bow

They have armour  , forged blade upgrades 

They are a new unit modeled after blending Rohan warrior with Faramir

 

The Wildmen horde

They have a few new powers

They have Dual Weapons : they get an additional Club 

They have Torches ; the club becomes a torch

The 'Fire ' they cause have a RAZING effect

The fire stays on a building and will not go out unless put out by porter or rain or snow ( Isengard can cause an Avalance or Blizzard )

 

This fire effect is an Evil Faction power only

So a new Mordor orc horde  and Corsairs have this power

I had always liked a Tent and Campfire building 

 

I had initially abandoned this idea as I did not want a tent building multiple hordes 

 

Also building Rohan warriors in a Gondor Faction , or Wildmen in an Isengard Faction from an unsuitable building seemed off

 

Now they are like Special Scout units , accessible from buildings that suit their function 

 

And the random Campfire gives additional purpose to their use 

 

I WILL LINK THE NEW AND IMPROVED MOD SOON 

 

( I am occasionally modding new stuff even after all these years ,

Win 8.1 and 10 does not play nice with art programs I had before 

But my new touch screen 2 in 1 makes modding and playing more fun ! )

Purchase Fire , Arrow , Poison Armor

Armour lasts 60secs and costs $1000 per purchase

 

Mine costs $500

Monuments for Powers costs $2000
