Below you can find the rules and guidelines of this tournament.
------------------

- It will be a 1vs1 (random) competition.
- The competition system will be adjusted depending on participants.
- The maximum number of participating players will be 32.
- Sign-up is done on a first-come first-serve basis, which means you have to be quick.
- Everyone who has a T3A:Online account can participate.
- All games have to be played on the T3A:Online Server.
- Official tournament patch is the official server patch (= 1.05). This is not up for debate, and games played on different versions will not be reviewed/accepted.
- Referees will observe replays for cheaters and hackers.
- If you are caught cheating, you will not only be removed from the tournament but permanently banned from using T3A:Online.
- An official tournament game has to be hosted as "Tourney. $OpponentA vs $OpponentB"

- All games will be played by choosing 'Random' faction.
- Every match will be best two out of three.
- Each player hosts one game, the third is hosted by a neutral host (if needed).
- Onhost picks map from our map-pool (see below), offhost picks spot.
- Neutral battle takes place on Fords of Isen.
- The winner of every matchup has to upload all (properly named) 2 or 3 replays and write down the result within that post. Upload has to take place in the Tournament Outcome Report topic as soon as the matches are concluded.
Map-pool: Fangorn, Westfold, Eastern Rohan, Fords of Isen
Tournament Dates & Signups:

- Match organization is up to you. Please contact your opponent via pm and arrange a time (http://www.worldtimezone.com/)
- The start of every next round including draws will be announced in the tournament sticky.
Times can be changed depending on amount of players. Changes will be announced, but please watch the tournament topics.
Group Stages: Monday 04.11 - (max. 2 weeks)
Semi-Finals & Finals: roughly one week
The tournament lasts 3 weeks (max.)
Neutral Hosts / Disconnects:
- Please make sure you can provide some stable network while participating. Referees will help with disconnect decisions. General advice: Both players should agree on a replay if a disconnects takes place in early game while nothing is decided yet. But remember, in general terms a disconnect will mean that the disconnected faction will probably lose the game (refer to referee in that case).
- If there has to be a deciding 3rd game, it has to be played on a neutral host. The following users have agreed on helping out by hosting your games. Feel free to contact them in need:
- DuNeD@In --> GMT+5.30
- Yoshi (y0shi) --> GMT+1
- IlPrincipino --> GMT+1
- Fishy (Fishy153) --> GMT+1
- NeRo (NeRoFTW) --> GMT+1
- Felixanius --> GMT+1
- J2C2KL --> GMT+2
- GANDALF13 --> GMT-5.0
- Sud3t1 (ImAplaya) --> GMT+1
- _DJZilch --> GMT-5.0
- Alex (davedave) --> GMT+0
- excl --> GMT+0
- The neutral host has to be mentioned in the game report.
- Every neutral host has to remain absolutely neutral and is not allowed to communicate in any way with the players during the game. Be honest guys! (We consider it to be hard cheating which implies permanent ban.)
Rules on bug abusing/cheating
The following bugs are not allowed and will probably lead to disqualification if exploited:
- using the S bug for Lurtz, Legolas, Saruman, Aragorn
- units not taking damage while being attacked (they have to be moved - tell your opponent immediately)
- If the extra building slot bug occurs, do not abuse it by making an extra building on that spot. In the case that one building spot is not working and an extra spot is present, then the extra slot can be used. If a slot is not working and no extra is present, then the match should be restarted, but only in early game stages.
- bugged buildings / linked buildings to units giving free buildings. Should be reported immediately and you should agree on a replay if it happens for the first few buildings. At later stages: please continue to play.
Misc:
- If a team doesn't show up, and if they do not put any effort in trying to arrange a playing date, then the other team will be declared the winner by default.
- If a team uses profanity or behaves in a unacceptable manner towards the other team, they will be banned from any future tournaments. In the case of this happening, the offended players should take a screenshot of the incident and post it in the group topic.
-
Fairness!
Awards & More
- There will be awesome rewards for first, second, and third place, including but not necessarily limited to: forum signatures, tournament winner badge that shows underneath forum avatar, a mention in a hall of fame topic and Steam game codes.
- We may decide to implement livestreaming for certain games (will be announced)
- Gamereplays.org staff will be able to do some commentaries, thanks for that!
- If this tournament goes well, we will be hosting more.
Best wishes to all of you,
The Revora T3A:Online Team,
with support from all the BFME community including Facebook, Patch-makers and GR.org staff.
