HOSTING FAQ

What is free Revora Hosting?

What does the free T3A hosting package contain?

What do you expect of me in return?
Because we offer free hosting and a range of powerful utilities, we expect you to keep to the following requirements:

  • Everything listed in the red 'what we ask' box here. Further information on the Revora Network Bar and the ads can be found HERE.
  • Activity. We don't expect you to always work on your project, but we do expect you to keep your subforum updated with your progress. Don't post your content updates exclusively to ModDB, for example.
  • Integrity. That means we expect you to get permission from other modders when you use their work, and give them clear credit (in both content updates and mod readme files). Should we find out that you've been stealing content, your hosting will be removed and, depending on the severity of the situation, your account will be banned.

I am working on a BFME mod and want to get hosted on T3A. What should I do?
You can create a direct hosting request thread in this subforum or if you want to be more discreet about your project,
go through the Get Hosted procedure on the Revora website (note that this procedure usually takes a little more time to get processed).
Your thread should contain the following:

  • An outline of your mod's plan (what will it contain, what are its goals, etc). You don't have to reveal everything, just give us an idea.
  • Some proof that you are able to work on this mod; meaning model renders, screenshots, or an early demo featuring some of your new coding.
  • Tell us what you want; a subforum, webhosting, Stash/Jira, or all of the above? What should your website URL be?

I submitted my request. Now what?
The T3A Leader will evaluate your request. Once the decision is made it will be posted in your thread, and if accepted you will be contacted through PM to sort out the details of your hosting including hosting account information, the titles and amount of subforums your hosted forum will have, staff forum passwords, etc.

I have a team that I want to give access to my staff forum, what should I do?

You should make a post in this thread to request Project Team status for each of your team members.
