You know the film that plays right underneath where it says ig. Gondor with Minas Tirith?
How can I add one for new factions, so it doesn't play the one from the last-selected faction ( )?

EA writes the code, so they can basically do everything they want with it 
as for the video thing, I don't understand which videos you mean, but AFAIK, no one succesfully added a video ingame. Maybe we should email EA about this

Asked about that when I was out there. They said they would look into making a tool that would allow us to export into the proper format. Don't hold your breath though, they were rather hesitant and jumped around the question moreso than answered it.

I believe changing stuff like that around, that is not directly controlled by some texture declaration, involves editing the .ru files associated with the menu.

Ooooh I know this one:
Ever noticed those files in the texture folder called
aptcomponents1 - 4 dds
can't open them as DDS files
try renaming them to .TGA......
