Also, England are so godawful I've switched my allegiance to New Zealand, because, despite essentially being a Sunday-league pub team, they're a better bet than the overpaid, underwhelming idiots out there failing to beat that well-known footballing nation, Algeria. Come on New Zealand!

Slight update to display last results and top 5 leaderboard. New ranking uses % of W/(MP-D) to determine standings after points.
So as of now, although Puppeteer matt & Devon all have 8 points, they're in that order (73, 67, 53% respectively).
Percentages are also shown in the results, so you can see how many people got each tip right. Or see that with two draws and Germany loosing, nobody scored points yesterday!

That was one pretty big fail on Italy's part... So, out of the favourites, Italy sucks, along with England and Spain. Leaves Argentina, Germany and the Netherlands.

As England are sucking so bad, I've adopted New Zealand as my team for this world cup. So far, I am extremely happy, and entirely convinced that Italy is a nation of cheaters, divers, cowards and pussies. Also, Chiellini should have been sent off for hauling Winston Reed down by the throat in the box, which would also have given the Kiwis a penalty, and then they would have won and it would have been hilarious on so many levels. My favourite moment, though, came at the end, when Andy Barron came on, and the commentator said "And now for New Zealand, on comes a man who works in a bank." Magic.

13% tipped for NK... I would like the state for the record, I was not one. *adjusts crown* Though I was expecting to be disappointed, perhaps a draw or 1-goal difference, didn't quite see that coming!
Trying to devise schemes to reward tipsters that joined later, but not mathematically minded. Going purely by percentage doesn't work as you have to take total games into account or you could join, tip once, be right, and win. Simplest solution I've come up with is using Pts x %. Only makes for one change in the top 5, but shuffles the lower half of the table a bit more, usually only by a couple of spots. Essentially it means its better to be right 5/5 times than 5/10, but you need to keep tipping to raise your score. Thoughts?
Also thinking of awards for achieving percentages, streaks, etc. so latecomers can still have a shot at competing with something, but not entirely sure how to manage the system, so if nobody's interested in showing off a double-hat-trick, I mightn't bother!
(Oh, also changed the design slightly)

And you have my condolences, but it is a fair system that rewards people being right. I.e; People who thought Brazil could beat Côte d'Ivorie. With tip's like that, you're lucky its even named you as a Player
Sidenote, does anyone know why the hell its written Côte d'Ivorie everywhere instead of Ivory Coast? The rest use English names, there's no Espania or Deutchland...
Should really fix it so it'll allow tied rankings, tried earlier and failed miserably!
