So it's been announced that YR Argentina the largest & longest running C&C resource site is now officially dead!

 

I'm in shock that it was allowed to happen, I'm not even sure how it happened. I'd be grateful if someone could explain the course of events that led to this outcome?

And where it was announced that the site is officially dead? I hoped that it will return some day

Essentially, Martinoz gave up maintaining YR Argentina due to other commitments. This then resulted in the version of Joomla the site used to become outdated, and thus a security risk. Sadly the site then got hacked late last year, forcing us to purge the account.

 

The site has now been restored to its old pre-Joomla layout, as you can see. As for any assets that were uploaded after the discontinuation of this old layout, we may be able to restore them, but I can't promise anything on that.
