Hello Fans and Followers!

The day of the release draws closer...

Now made especially for you fans...

I present to you all the installer to the mod!

Why am I already distributing the installer you may wonder?

Well lets put it this way, the mod is relatively large, and no we are not gods on the internet...

Which means we have a bandwidth limit...

So you can pre-load part of The Ridder Clan Mod starting now!

The installer installs the Mod's launcher and the updater, these two should ensure that you are able to pre-load the mod, and on the day of the release, download the rest of the mod!

A kind reminder to all of you:
The Ridder Clan Mod is a Standalone Game/Mod. It works similar to how ROTWK works!
DO NOT INSTALL THE MOD IN THE SAME DIRECTORY AS THE ORIGINAL GAMES!!!
Doing so will corrupt those games, and make them unplayable!

A small disclaimer though...

This IS the first time we have attempted to create such a system of updating and downloading the mod.

Any feedback is appreciated!

Also do not hesitate to ask for help if things do not seem to be functioning like they should!

Now without any further ado I present the Ridder Clan Mod's Installer! <-Yes this is the link

Downloaded, pre-loaded, and announced on Facebook.

We've never had a pre-load on T3A (and Revora) before. This is very cool.

Hm? Oh might that be the problem?
Does the installer not run on XP?
If so I will need to see if I can change a few things to enable it to work correctly on XP.
I don't have a computer to check it on so yea...
What is the error you are getting?
----------------------
Ok, I may have found the cause for this problem, and will look into it when I get home.
If there is an error you are getting, i would still love to know what it is :)
This is after all the first time we are approaching it this way, so any possible tips and extra information would be helpful :)
And do not worry, if you can't preload it, I will ensure personally that you get the mod no matter if I am able to compile the installer to WinXP or not ;)

Ok for all of those who were having DLL dependency troubles, or problems on Windows XP, these problems should be fixed now!

Please download it again, and let me know if you run into any more problems!!!

Hello, i'm a huge fan of your work and I play the last release(I loved it) but I cannot seem to get singleplayer to work I've downloaded the extra files and put them in my game folder ive downloaded game2.dat and put it in the game folder, I can run the game, it gets to the screen that has all the options(create a hero, singleplayer multiplayer, ect) but when I select single player and skirmish it crashes just after a glimpse of the map selection screen. the first time this happened I had an error that said spgame.dat has cause the program to shut down immediately, so I reinstalled, same problem but windows has no error message. i'm probably installing single player wrong but i could use some help. thanks.

Hello,

Thank you for your support! As for your error, fans reported that deleting your old Create a heroes will stop crashing the game when entering skirmish. Until we dig more into this problem this might be the only solution.

Hope it helps!

Either download and use the singleplayer version, use the rotwk cd, or mount the rc mod cd from moddb ;)

(should state where that is in the actual release topic, ill lock this one to prevent people from posting here, since its not logical to do so anymore..)
