In the events of growing our mod team we decided we could use a 2D Artist for buttons, icons and maybe UI in The Ridder Clan Mod.

The subject must be able to basic stuff like:

  • Get in the game and take screens to transform them in portraits/icons.
  • Find suitable images on internet and tweak them to fit.
  • Make from scratch certain elements.
  • Knowledge of Photoshop filters.
  • Able to make a BFME2-style portraits.

If this sounds child-play we got some more challenging stuff.

We got some promising projects ahead so we need any help we can get. Also you get to see all these shinny stuff we work on :shiftee2:.

We are waiting. :p

I don't think Revora is the right place to ask this, it seems there aren't enough members with free time/motivation atm. Try some other sites with other BFME modders.

Give me a detailed list of things that need doing and I will see what I can do. You have until Tuesday to give me that list though because after that I'll be without internet for a while and I need to gather references (though you are free to provide your own!).

I can do button art and portraits, though I have to ask, do you really want them in the BFME2 style? Usually doing them that way just ruins a good image, even if done right, but if it helps you guys I can get over it, at least for a few portraits. :p

I will not be able to go ingame though because I won't have internet on my modding station. After the 26th I should be online as usual, so if there's no hurry, I can do some things then. I won't act as a fulltime 2d artist but I'm sure I can check quite a few items on your list.

I thought Fredius was meaning to ask at other LotR fan art websites. You could message LotR artists on DeviantArt or similar art sites I suppose?

But you said 'other sites with other BFME modders'. Is there a BFME modding community on Deviantart?

Tbh I have no idea, but what I know is that there are communities like Modding Union and ME-vault. Not sure but I read somewhere that there are also Russian communites in the interwebz? Anyway I thought there were more but it looks like there isn't much left.

EDIT: Okay ME-vault is down it seems?

Thanks for the offer Matthijs. Nothing really burning atm, we just thought we could use a 2D artist so help us with the things I cba to do so I can focus on models.

There are some things to do but I guess we can wait until 26th. :p
