Gameplay
The infamous Traveller 59 hero unit is here!
In addition to the standard abilities that the Mastermind has, the Prodigy has a couple of extra abilities that make all the difference.
Teleport
Having the 'blink' teleport is a big deal. Depending on the map it can be a massive advantage. The immense danger that the Prodigy represents greatly increases the threat vs the Shock troopers blink usage.
In this simple example the teleport is used to cross a ravine that ground units would have to go around
Area Mind Control
The area mind control is a major annoyance for your enemy. While it does not last that long (20 seconds), it has a relatively short reload time (30 seconds), and as such, it is a persistent threat that wears enemy forces down.

If you want to master Area mind control usage, I suggest you look up videos of Traveller 59 expert players in action.
So annoying!
Summary
Used correctly (making use of all the abilities, not just one or two), especially together with the Wormhole support power, the Prodigy is the best hero unit by some distance. Keep practising to get the best out of this unit, and if you want to get really good, watch some high level Kane's wrath play.
