Open positions:

We are trying to keep up a friendly and family-like atmosphere in the team. That is why one of our most important requirements for all of the below positions is to have a friendly and open minded attitude towards your work and also the other team members. We are trying to produce at a high quality level and want all of our members to work as efficient and well-organized as they can. All the work you are going to do for us will receive the credit it deserves. Since this is an online project, you are going to need a microphone for communication via Skype.

  • Deputy Lead Artist

You are going to be in charge of the art department when the Co-Lead & Lead Artist is not available. Communication is key for this position. You need to be able to adapt to the style and vision for the game and lead our artists through development. Upholding the Game Design Document and other files for documentation is also going to be part of your work.

    Requirements:

    • 1-2 years or more experience in a previous management or leading position
    • 1-2 years or more experience in 3D games development
    • Expertise in 3Ds Max (It is a huge bonus, if you are familiar with DirectX9 default shaders. If you have knowledge in this field, get in contact regardless of qualifications)
    • Fluent in written and spoken English
    • Able to create and critique both low-poly organic and hard-surface models
    • Teamplayer
    • Able to evaluate other's performance objectively
    • Passionate and respectful

  • 3D Animator

You are going to breathe life into the 3D models. This position requires 3Ds Studio Max 9. We can provide you a copy, if you do not own the software. We can also teach you, if you have a Maya background and are willing to change software. This requires you to schedule your working time depending on our 3D Lead Artist, though he is in US CST (UTC/GMT-6).

    Requirements:

    • Expertise in 3Ds Studio Max
    • Fluent in written and spoken English
    • Teamplayer
    • Passionate and respectful

  • Texture Artist

As our texture artist, you are going to create beautiful texture work for the 3D models we provide. You do not need to create the texture from scratch, because we have templates available for you.

    Requirements:

    • Expertise in Photoshop
    • Fluent in written and spoken English
    • Teamplayer
    • Passionate and respectful

  • XML-Scripter

The project is working with the Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars Sage-Engine, which uses XML and Lua-Scripting. You are going to be responsible for making all the planned gameplay mechanics work along side our Lead Programmer and fellow Programmers.

    Requirements:

    • Expertise in XML- and Lua-syntax
    • Copy of Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars
    • Fluent in written and spoken English
    • Teamplayer
    • Passionate and respectful

Benefits:

While there are no monetary rewards, these positions give the great chance to not only gain experience in your fields, but to also work together with highly motivated individuals in a team. It is required to give and take constructive criticism and simply push the designs to the limits to give the player the best gaming experience possible. In addition, we are focussing on creating high quality in all points of design, which means that you'll get great video material to publish on your blogs/websites to showcase your work. You can expect a solid foundation and work done in every area of development, since the project has been in development for a couple of years already. The team leader takes documentation and planning very seriously. Furthermore, strategies for future content publishments are already made. The team leader may write you a reference letter for future work-relationships.

Required time:

Each position requires a minimum of roughly 5-10 hours per week. The amount of time you have to put into this project is highly depending on how efficient you work. It makes sense that you will need less time, if you produce high quality at any point, so the given times are just a rough estimate. It is very important that you can react to e-mails and inquiries via smart phone or any other devices, though. We also have regular team meetings, which we highly recommend attending to.

We use our Google Drive, Trello, Skype and e-mail for the exchange of data and information. Further information can be given upon request.

Interested in working with us?

Please, get in touch with me via e-mail at: Kjellbunjes@gmail.com or Skype (Kjell.bunjes) to discuss further details.

Thanks for your time,

Kjell 'iQew' Bunjes

(HR Manager)
