I had a thought, about the role of ballista in SEE...

In the Movies, I can't recall ever seeing Isengard uruks using ballista (do they?), but in BotFA the dwarves do. No catapults though. So, what if we use the Isengard ballista for dwarves instead and move the dwarven catapult to Isengard in return? Naturally the operators would be rerigged to proper units.

Isengard has ballista for sure. They use them to attach the tall ladders to the keep wall. Nevertheless, I would like a Dwarven ballista. ;)

The Uruks do use the ballista, many times in the movies.

I tried googling it and using YouTube but I can't find any scene. I guess I'll have to watch the disc :p

But regardless, I guess we can use ballista for dwarves anyway. A simple reskin and swapped operators should do it. Maybe we can do something with the projectiles as well so the look like the twirling motion they had...  :trickydick:

Ah, there they are... briefly. 4 mins in. So they're not really used as ballistas, but rater huge grappling hooks.

I think you're confused estimated, the ballista, in this case, or scorpions siege weapons are for walls siege

Isengard Ballista is to place siege ladders   to high walls. the dwarven perform other functions.
