ok I searched this forum and even searched the files i have but i have not found the file where the furnance, slaughterhouse and lumber mill are in? i have made changes to them but it is not working. I have looked in the evilfactionsbuildings.ini file (Using the find function) and all other files i think it might be in. I find them in the gamedata.ini file but it wont update and i dont know why

If it doesn't update it's probably being overwritten by the contents of another .big file (for example of a patch), or you are not using the mod command?

"To know what question we may reasonably propose is in itself a strong evidence of sagacity or intelligence. For if a question be in itself incongruous and begs for uncalled-for answers, it holds, sometimes, besides embarrassing the proposer, the disadvantage to seduce the unguarded listener into giving absurd answers, and we are presented with the ridiculous spectacle of one (as the ancients said) milking the he-goat, and the other holding a sieve beneath."

I'm using the -mod command and every other part of my mod is working which is not making any sense to me. it wook me awhile to get the -mod command and everything else to work right. while it is not entirely neccessary for me have the lumbermill, slauterhouse and furnance modified to enjoy it just makes it easier but no matter.

Someone asked this just a few days ago, in this forum ;)

If you're using the -mod command, use data\ini\default\water.ini, and only this location, to make balance changes. data\ini\gamedata.ini is ignored by the -mod command for some reason. data\ini\object\gamedata.ini should only be used to change/alter game functions, such as command point behavior or graphics settings. In fact, both gamedata.ini files can be empty (not contain any data, do at least put a semicolon in) unless you're changing game functions, in which case this stuff goes in data\ini\object\gamedata.ini.

I recommend you to take a look at pre-converted ini packages unless you have already changed too much. If you have, use the macro renamer that is described in the forum post (I have not used that, so I cannot really help you with that).

Once you have that package, the gamedata stuff is set up for you.
