Hello, 

 

It seems like there's activity on this forum. I'd love to express my thoughts about Haradwaith, which  "migh" be the 10th faction. While we're far from a possible new Evil faction, I'll share my ideas about units only.

 

HARADWAITH

 

Units:

 

Harad

 

Southron footmen (spear and shield,) BASIC INFANTRY/ANTI CAVALRY

Southron skirmishers (bow) BASIC ARCHERS, can use thron arrow that weaken their enemies and heroes alike

Haradrim riders (lance and shield) BASIC CAVALRY,  light lancers, good at flanking and catching retreating units

Haradrim warriors (javelins/  short sword for melee) ANTI-ARCHERS , can also break charges from infantry

 

Crimson Vanguards (elite infantry/ cavalry), HERO HORDE, limited in number

 

Far Harad

 

Lancers of the Scortched Land (lances and shields)   HEAVY CAVALRY

Southron  champions (huge shield, large mace) SHOCK TROOPS, resilient to knockback

Mûmakil (heavy monster)

 

Haven of Umbar

 

Belegaer Corsairs (bow and sword) ELITE ARCHERS

Umbarian raiders (guisearme or some kind of bill)   ELITE TWO HANDED INFANTRY

Ballista siege unit

 

Waht do you think about it?

Sorry for the really delayed response. I like the ideas though, especially with Umbar being the higher tier.

Yes, and them being armed with polearms and bows, unlike the Piates of the Caribbean from vanilla.

Far Harad should also include the half-trolls

Suggestions for units are already made, so here are some suggestions for their heroes:

 

• Golden king of Harad (I know he's not "real" but i found him on this site http://lotr.wikia.co..._King_of_Harad)​
• Mumakil Mahud/Chief of the mumakil (the guy from the ROTK)

I've included "half trolls" as "Southron champions. It makes more sense because nothing proves there were actually real half trolls. It's more likely to be a metaphor because these men were tall and very muscular.
